     Thomas Raymond Dietz was buried at Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon, Chesterfield Co., Virginia.³ He was born on March 27, 1960.⁴ He married Julie Ann Barbour, daughter of Elwell Dewey Barbour Jr. and Linda Faye Jarrett, on January 7, 1984 at Colonial Heights, Virginia.^1,5,3 Thomas Raymond Dietz died on January 15, 2014 at Richmond, Virginia, at age 53.^2,3,4 He Thomas Raymond Dietz, 53, of Colonial Heights, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. He was the son of the late Robert Lee and Elizabeth Schaaf Dietz and was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Dietz and Gary Dietz. Mr. Dietz was a talented painter and restorer of old homes and buildings. He was the owner of T.R. Dietz & Daughters Painting. In addition to his work, he attended Cameron Avenue Church of Christ and loved to ride his motorcycle. A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Julie Barbour Dietz; daughters, Jessica Nicole Dietz, Elizabeth Ann Dietz and Micaela Lynn Dietz; brothers, Bill Mueller, George Mueller, Robert Dietz, and Daniel Dietz; mother and father-in-law, Ed and Linda Barbour; sister-in-law, Debora Dennis; brother-in-law, Richard Barbour. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at the Chester chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. on January 18, 2014.³

Surviving is his wife, Anita Jones Hassell; daughter, Melanie Scott, of Wytheville; mother-in-law, Hazel Jones; brother-in-law, Robert Jones, both of Salem; aunt and uncle, Shirley and Graham Darden, of Greensboro; cousins, Graham Darden, Jr. of Lewisville, N.C., Tommy Hassell of Salem. Also surviving is his little buddy, Cotton. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the SPCA, 1313 Eastern Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia 24013. A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2003 in West View Cemetery, Radford, Va. A celebration of Joe's life will take place at 5 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2003 at Simpson-Tharp Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. The Rev. William L. Iler will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. on August 28, 2003.⁴
