Rose was born on November 28, 1928, to the late Dominic and Agnes Girondo, in Richwood, W.Va. She was a 1946 graduate of Richwood High School, and she resided in Huntington, W.Va., for 40 years. She was a current resident of Emeritus at Outlook Manor in Westerville, Ohio. Rose loved to dance and tell stories, and she was an accomplished seamstress, making clothes and Halloween costumes for her daughters and granddaughter. She also enjoyed gardening, and grew many of her plants from seed in her greenhouse. Rose will be remembered by many through the cards she sent for birthdays and holidays, and for her baked goods at family gatherings and reunions. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tiny Jiles. She is survived by her husband of nearly 57 years, Everett Nugen; daughters Donna Nugen (Gary Marshall), and Charlene (Pat) DeBord; granddaughter Jessica Parsley; brother William "Bill" Girondo; and many other family members and friends. Interment will be on Tuesday at Mountainview Memorial Park, Richwood, W.Va. on August 6, 2010.2

She graduated from Oak Hill High School, then attended Hollands College and graduated from WVU with a degree in languages and education. While attending WVU, she met the love of her life, Chuck Wilson. They married after graduation and enjoyed 63 wonderful years together before Chuck passed away August 9, 2012. Marylee had a successful career as a beloved french and english teacher at Kanawha County schools and also dedicated much of her time to her church, Charleston Baptist Temple. Marylee was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Wilson; her sister, Jean Eakle; and infant son, Charles Aubrey Wilson. Marylee is survived by her daughter, Debbie Flesner of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Charles Garrett Flesner and Marlena “Marlee” Flesner of Atlanta, GA; her brothers-in-law, Al Eakle of Mooresville, NC, and A.K. “Doc” Wilson of Parkersburg; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and her best friend of 50 years, Linda K. Ward. Memorial service will be held at Baptist Temple, Charleston. Upon graduation Jean attended West Virginia University, where she earned a pre-medicine honorary and Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. She was a member of various honor and student groups at WVU, including the University's Student Council, the YWCA Board, the Alpha Epislon Delta Honor Society, and Delta Gamma Sorority. While attending West Virginia University, Jean met her husband of 65 years, Allan Fairfax Eakle, on the steps of a Baptist church. Upon graduation from the university, she worked as a medical technologist in the first laboratory at Charleston Memorial Hospital (now C.A.M.), and after raising her family, returned to the profession at Lowrance Hospital, Mooresville. Jean and her family moved to North Carolina in 1960, eventually settling in Mooresville. She was actively involved in the community with much of her energy devoted to her church. Jean and Al established the Young Couples Sunday School class, later known as the Good News Class, which they led for over 40 years. She was also an active member of the Women's Mission Union (W.M.U.), the Marge Rogers Prayer Group, and the XYZ senior group. Jean was also involved with starting the church's soup kitchen, the first of its kind in the area. Jean was the devoted mother of two children, Dr. Jonathan Eakle, a professor at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland; and Jennifer Cook, who works in the medical field. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jay Allan Cook, Burke Wade Cook, Maya Artemisia Eakle, and Ulises Cordova Chavez; daughter-in-law, Dr. Rosa Aurora Chavez Eakle, and sister, Marlyee Wilson. on February 24, 2013.4

"Cammie" Nugen, on March 27, 1951 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.1,5,3 Charles Paul Wilson Jr. died on August 9, 2012 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 89.5,4,3 He Charles "Chuck" Paul Wilson Jr., 89, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest at CAMC Memorial Division on August 9, 2012. He was born April 19, 1923, in Lewis County, the son of the late Charles P. Wilson Sr. and Myrtle McCoy Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, Charles Aubrey, who was born in Oak Hill; and two sisters, Jean A. Wilson and Justine Wilson Kidd. Chuck is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marylee Bishop Wilson; daughter, Deborah Jean Wilson Flesner (John) of Lawrenceville, Ga; and two grandchildren, Charles Garrett and Marlena Michelle Flesner, also of Georgia. Other survivors include a brother, A.K. (Jeannie) Wilson of Parkersburg; nephew, Scott Wilson of Buckhannon; other nieces and nephews out of state, Donna Jean Espenship, Lyn Wilson, Paula Cera, Jonathan Eakle and Jennifer Bass; beloved sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean and Allan Eakle of Mooresville, N.C; and a faithful friend, Linda Kaye Ward of Charleston. Chuck graduated from Washington Irving High School, Clarksburg, in 1942 and will always be remembered for his enthusiastic participation on the football team. He was inducted into the United States Army Air Force on February 4, 1943, serving in the Western Pacific during World War II, and was honorably discharged on December 11, 1945. Chuck received his B.S. degree in business administration from West Virginia University in 1950. He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. His professional career included service with Exxon Corporation and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He retired as a claims adjustor for the West Virginia Department of Insurance. A faithful member of Charleston Baptist Temple, Chuck served on the diaconate as well as on many other boards and committees. Special to him was the opportunity as usher to meet and greet many people. His membership in The Gideons International, South Camp, brought him much joy and gave him the opportunity to be an avid participant in the Memorial Bible Ministry. He had a special love for Camp Cowen and the various activities of the American Baptist Men of West Virginia. Chuck was a 50-year member of the William G. Bennett Lodge No. 46 of Walkersville, the Beni Kedem Shriners of Charleston and the Scottish Rite Body, including the Oriental Band. He loved to dance and had served as a past president of the Passepied Dance Club. Memorial service will be held at Charleston Baptist Temple, corner of Morris and Quarrier streets. Concluding the service will be the inurnment in the Columbarium Garden. on August 17, 2012.3
