Burial with military rites will be in the Hughes Cemetery, Wilsie. on April 17, 2015.3

Hubert Woods officiating. Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, with a burial service following at Mount Moriah Cemetery, Walton. on May 27, 2007.2

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and an elder in the Presbyterian Church in West Virginia. He also attended Bible Presbyterian Church, Lakeland. A former member of a Barbershop Quartet, Jim enjoyed travel, bowling, golf, hunting and fishing. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, he will be missed. Mr. Jarvis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eloise Jarvis of Lakeland; sons, Jim Jarvis of Twin City, Ga., and Jay Jarvis of Lakeland; brother, John Jarvis of Scott Depot, W.Va; grandson, Joshua Jarvis; and granddaughters, Julia Jarvis, Jackie Jarvis and Angel Jarvis. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 5315 Koontz Drive, Cross Lanes, WV 25313.

Upon retiring to Cross Lanes, she worked for several family practice doctors. Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 57 years, Arnold Schoolcraft Sr; sons and a daughter-in-law, James H. and Elda Schoolcraft of Alexandria, La., John Schoolcraft of Cross Lanes; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann Schoolcraft-King and Jim of Orlando, Fla. She is also survived by her sister, Emilee Denkins of Cross Lanes; two brothers and their wives, Cecil and Roberta Spence of Cross Lanes, Charles and Rosemary Spence of Nashville, Tenn. She was the loving grandmother to three grandsons, Joseph Schoolcraft of Alexandria, Michael and Jason Schoolcraft of Orlando, Fla. In addition, she was survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, Cross Lanes, with the Rev. Mayford Witt officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. on September 23, 2003.7
