In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Thomas in 1976; a sister, Elsie Elmore Landis; and a brother, Lawrence Elmore. She is survived by her brother, James Elmore of Georgetown, Del; a special friend, Clarence L. Warker Sr., of Radcliff; nieces, Wanda Jamison, Joyce Carter and Frances Turner, all of Covington. A visitation will be held Wednesday at the Percell and Sons Funeral Home, Elizabethtown, Kentucky. A graveside funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with the Rev. Billy Price officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Local arrangements are being handled by Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.

Mr. Elmore was also a greeter for Wal-Mart in Georgetown. He moved to Delaware from Baltimore in 1991. Mr. Elmore was a member of Hiss United Methodist Church and Industrial Management Club, both in Baltimore, and American Legion in Parkville, Md. He enjoyed hunting and traveling and had been to all 50 states and Canada. Mrs. Elmore was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving from 1944-1946 and honorably discharged as seaman 1st class. In addition to his parents, Mr. Elmore is preceded in death by his wife, Christine Wheelbarger Elmore, in 1994; a brother, Lawrence Elmore; and two sisters, Elsie Landis and Margaret Thomas. He is survived by a daughter, Susan Renee Fowler and husband, Donald of Parkville; a son, Robert James Elmore and wife, Angeline of Arizona; five grandchildren, Dena Marie Fowler, Simon Elmore and wife, Amy, Asialine Smith and husband, Davis, Emerald Elmore and Shalyna Crandel and husband, David; five great-grandchildren, Payson Elmore, Kibson Elmore, Bethany Elmore, Savannah Smith and McKenna Smith; and a dear friend, Val Armbruster of Georgetown. A funeral service was held in the Lemmon Funeral Home, 10 W. Padonia Road, Timonium, Md. Burial was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, Md. Arrangements were handled by Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Easter Seals, 22317 DuPont Blvd., Georgetown, DE 19947. on July 26, 2007.3

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Day Crawford. Mrs. Crawford is survived by her daughter, Carole Stroud (Ross) of Raleigh; sons, Delbert Lynn Crawford (Deborah); and Rock Alan Crawford both of Cary; sister, Clara Abbott; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Inurnment will follow the service at Raleigh Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice. on July 10, 2013.4

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bush was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin L. Bush; and by one brother. Mrs. Bush was a childcare provider in her home for many years. She was a Christian and was a devoted wife and mother. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Hazel and Clarence Livesay of Charlottesville, Va; one son and daughter-in-law, with whom Mrs. Bush made her home for 17 years, Ronald and Sharon Bush of Dunbar; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Crawford of Cary, N.C., and Clara Abbott of New Castle; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 10, in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel, Covington, Va. The interment will follow in Persinger Memorial Cemetery, Covington. The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time at Arritt Funeral Home. on November 9, 2011.2

Kathryn is survived by her children, Rebecca Billups of Scott Depot, James Johnson II and his wife Susan of Hershey, Pa., and Susan Lively and her husband Clifford of Beckley; her grandchildren, Michael Billups, Deanna Riggs, Christopher Billups, Amy Caswell, Sarah Hambrick, Scott Lively, and Emily Johnson; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, at Washington Street Church of Christ, 601 Washington Street, St. Albans, with Eddie Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park. on July 12, 2009.5

Mr. Callahan was a retired coal miner from Slab Fork Coal Company with 29 years of service, he was a member of the American Legion Post 200 of Charleston, UMW Local No. 7086, was a Korean Conflict Veteran and attended the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Shady Spring. Survivors include his wife, Lou Rollyson Callahan; a brother, Warren F. Callahan Jr. of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Elizabeth Newland of Shady Spring, Kathryn Johnson of St. Albans, Ruth Gallagher of Morgantown and Mildred Ricketts of Glen Morgan. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Prosperity with the Revs. Marie Buffalo and Tom Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Clinton Moore, Joseph Byrd, Clifford Moore, Benny Mitchell, Jack Stewart and Pedro Torrico. on December 12, 1991.10

A funeral mass in Anna's honor is scheduled for Friday, October 5, 2012 at 9:30 AM in the Calvary Hill Funeral Home North Chapel at 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220. Anna was a homemaker who gave of her time generously for volunteer work in her community in good works organizations such as the Aurora Garden Club, Boy Scouts of America, and the St. Elizabeth's Church. In the Aurora Garden Club, Anna served as president for numerous terms. She was known throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area for the beautiful dried and fresh floral arrangements that she entered in the area garden and floral arrangement shows. She was an expert in miniature flower arrangements with dried materials garnering many awards in competitions. Anna was a frequently scheduled speaker at garden club events throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Area to teach her floral techniques to aspiring floral arrangers and gardeners. In the Boy Scouts of America, Anna was a scout leader with the Cub Scouts at St. Elizabeth's Church and served in leadership roles with Circle 10 Council. The Boy Scouts recognized Anna's leadership achievements by awarding her the coveted Silver Beaver award. At the St. Elizabeth's church, Anna volunteered for many committees, guilds and good works projects. Anna lived her life with high energy and a zest for living and learning. She was never afraid to take up the mantel for good works. She could be counted on. She was compassionate but she also believed in self reliance. These were values that she instilled in her children. Anna was survived by her 3 children, Kathleen Andrade, Ronald Callahan and Russell Callahan, and sisters, Elizabeth Budsock and Carol St. Cyr. She is also survived by Kathleen's husband, Alex Andrade, and grandchildren Amanda Andrade and Erik Andrade; Ronald's wife, Sherrie Callahan, grandchildren Ethan Callahan and Sydney Callahan; Russell's wife, Colleen Callahan, grandchildren Eric Callahan and Bryan Callahan, Bryan's wife Lyndsey Callahan and great granddaughter, Lauren Callahan; Carol's husband, Wilfred St. Cyr.
