He was raised and educated in Nebraska graduating high school in 1933. Bill taught school before joining the US Navy in 1937. He proudly served his country for 8 years and was a World War II veteran. Bill married Reva Dillon in Long Beach, CA on Dec 13, 1938. They had 3 children, David, Daniel and Rose Marie. After being honorably discharged, the family moved to Vale, Oregon to farm. In 1955, they moved to San Jose, CA where Bill went to Bible College and received a Bachelor of Sacred Literature degree. He was ordained as a minister in 1960. Bill worked as a minister and a high school custodian before moving back to Idaho in 1975. Bill is survived by his wife of 71 years, Reva, of Nampa; a son, David and Judy Kirchner, of CA; a daughter, Rose Marie and Harry DeHaven, of Nampa; four granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Mabel Rader, of NE; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Daniel; three brothers and four sisters. on July 16, 2010.5
