Weaver, 56, of 335 Third Ave., South Charleston, died yesterday at her home of heart attack. Mrs. Weaver had been a resident of South Charleston for 25 years and was a member of the Fifth Avenue Church of God there. Survivors include her husband, Joseph; four daughters, Mrs. W. E. Taylor of South Charleston, Mrs. Johnnie Wills of St. Albans, Mrs. Norman Davis of Anderson, Ind., and Mrs. Richard Lutz of Jacksonville, N.C; four sons, Joseph Jr., Russell, Robert and Franklin, all of South Charleston; her father, Thomas Demastus of Sutton; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wiblin of Worth; one brother, Russell Demastus of South Charleston, and 13 grandchildren. The body is at the Degnan Funeral Home in South Charleston and will be taken to the residence this afternoon. on June 22, 1956.4

He was born January 4, 1930, in Longacre, WV, a son of the late Lonnie Perdew, Sr. and Glenda Weaver Perdew. He was an Air Force pilot, a heavy-duty equipment mechanic and retired from Kaiser Aluminum in 1989 after 23 years of service. He was a good Christian, a hard worker as well as a loving husband, father and friend. Lonnie will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years Margie Lou Ann Perdew; sons Lonnie Perdew, III and Earnest "Wesley" Perdew and wife, Rhonda; sister Shirley McDaniel in addition to many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Charles Otto Perdew and Robert Jack Perdew. According to his wishes, Lonnie was cremated and an interment ceremony at the Veteran's Cemetery in Dallas, Texas will be held at a later date with full military rites. on August 8, 2007.4
