     Billy Eugene Smithson Billy Eugene Smithson, 82, of North Dinwiddie, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Delores Smithson: his parents, David Sr. and Virgie Smithson; daughter, Debbie Osborne; and grandson, Charles R. Osborne. Bill was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Edward (Eddie) Minton; and her parents Frank Bane and Clara Elizabeth Harner. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Margo and Ira Wolfe, her special chihuahua, Tiffany, and special loved ones Jennifer Conner, Missy Plaster, Becky Dailey, and extended family.      Herman Cecil "H. C." Hall married Phyllis Smith.² Herman Cecil "H. C." Hall married Lynn Nickols.² Herman Cecil "H. C." Hall was born circa 1943.² He died on February 21, 2015 at Virginia.² He Herman C. (H.C.) Hall, 72, of Blue Ridge, Va., passed from this life to his Heavenly home on Saturday, February 21, 2015. His family and friends helped keep him home during his final days and his loving daughter, Paula, was at his side. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Smith Hall; his third wife, Lynn Nickols Hall; father, Leslie W. Hall Jr; mother, Josephine B. Haymaker Hall; sister, Charlotte Hall Smith; brother, Calvin Glenn Hall; special aunt, Garnette Butt; nephew, Phillip Hall; and niece, Melissa Garrett. H.C. served his country as a private in the United States Army. He retired from New River Electric Corporation after 35 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid golfer. He finished his last 18 holes on January 17. He loved animals and enjoyed bird-watching. Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughter, Paula D. He was born on June 8, 1950, in Lafayette, Va. Glenn was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. All who knew him will miss his big laugh, fun stories and willingness to help. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.W. and Josephine Hall.
