     Melva L. Bonebrake Melva L. Furman passed from this life to enter her eternal home on Sunday, June 21, 2020 in the Linwood Village Nursing Home at the age of 89 years. The daughter of the late Clarence Edward Bonebrake and Lennie Katherine Snyder Bonebrake, Melva was born on August 16, 1930 in Cushing, Oklahoma where she was raised and educated. She was united in marriage to Jackie Earl Dawes on August 21, 1947 and to this union three children, Larry, Carol, and Betty were born. He preceded her in death in October of 1991. On December 26, 1999 she was married to Albert Furman whom preceded her in death in October of 2010. In this marriage she gained four children, Dan, Bill, John and Anita, as well as grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Melva was involved in the early childhood development program at Yale, teaching with Head Start for many years. As a follower of Jesus Christ, she attended several churches in the area. She enjoyed sewing, camping, cooking and was known for her delicious cinnamon rolls. She is survived by her children, Larry Dawes and his wife Shelley of Yale, Oklahoma, Betty Howe and her husband Ronald of Poteau, Oklahoma, Dan Furman and his wife Shenista of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Bill Furman and his wife Leah of Stillwater, Oklahoma, John Furman and his wife Vonda of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Anita Dawes and her husband Tom of Perkins, Oklahoma; one sister Elaine Blasier of Enid, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one daughter Carol Beeler; three brothers, Donavon, Keith and Harold Bonebrake, one sister Dowanna Brain and bonus son, Don Furman. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Underwood Cemetery at Yale.2 She was buried at Underwood Cemetery, Yale, Payne Co., Oklahoma.2 She was born on August 16, 1930 at Cushing, Payne Co., Oklahoma.2 As of December 26, 1998,her married name was Furman.1 She married Albert Franklin Furman, son of Leroy Horace Furman and Ada Ella Madison, on December 26, 1998 at Yale, Payne Co., Oklahoma.1,2 Melva L. Dellma and Ory were the former owners of the Pine Lodge Cafe. Dellma R. (McCurry) Snyder was born on August 5, 1934 in Stillwater, Okla. to Barney M. McCurry and Forest D. (Moss) McCurry. Dellma was a longtime member of the First Christian Church. She was devoted to her kids and enjoyed her time with all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Ory G. Furman, Sr., infant son Stevie, sons, Charles (Chuck) Furman and Victor (Vic) Furman; second husband, William Snyder, two brothers, James and Eugene McCurry; and sister, Laura Bowman. She is survived by her sons, Ory Gene Furman, Jr. and Edward (Eddie) Furman and her daughter, Diane Furman all of Wellington; grandchildren, Misty Whitham Adair and her husband Daryn of Wells Point, TX, Crystal Furman of Stillwater, OK, Victor Furman, Jr. and his wife Chelsea of Dale, Oregon, Bobbi Furman of Wichita, KS, LaDonna Stringer and her husband Justin of Argonia, Amelia Boyd and her companion Carl Windom of Dale, Oregon, and Travis Boyd and his companion Judi Riggs of Stillwater, OK; great-grandchildren, Ethan Wolf, Lexton Furman, Jazlyn and Toby Compass, Kaylin, Isabelle, Omilee, and Adalyn Furman, Lakkin Jo Miles, Kelsen and Colton Pearson, and Shane and Kayla Stringer. Memorial Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at 2 p.m. Pastor Zane Brooks will officiate. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. on February 21, 2020.1
