Survivors include one brother, David Thompson, of the home; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Verda Jarrell, of Cumberland Road in Bluefield, the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edd Thompson of Maple Acres; the maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. M. E. Morgan, of Bluefield. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens on the Bluefield-Princeton road. on July 8, 1972.⁵
