     Daniel Wythe Cannaday was buried at Mountain View Memorial Park (also known as Mountain View Burial Park), 5970 Grassy Hill Road, Boones Mill, Franklin Co., Virginia.3 He was born on July 19, 1939 at Franklin Co., Virginia.4 He married Billie Carol Davis circa 1956.3 Daniel Wythe Cannaday died on February 3, 2020 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 80.3 He Daniel Cannaday, age 80, of Rocky Mount, went to sleep on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Daniel was a loving husband and father who was a guitar player and loved NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manford and Betty Cannaday; nephew, Leon Cannaday; and brother, Russell Cannaday; and in-laws, Donald Davis, Dean Davis, Ezra Davis and wife, Walletta; and Debbie Hogan. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Carol Davis Cannaday; two sons, Richard (David) and Heather Cannaday, Linwood and Janet Cannaday of Vinton; one daughter, Anita and Travis Scott of Burnt Chimney; four grandchildren, Richard (Richie) and Syreeta Cannaday of Pa., Erica Barton of Roanoke, Chris and Chelsea Cannaday of Calif., William Powell and friend, Kasey, of Rocky Mount; six great-grandchildren, Ian, Irene, Judah, Mona, Charlie, Jacie Lyn and Brodie; and good friend, Gwen Cannaday of Roanoke. Carol would like to thank her grandson, William, for all his help in his caregiving. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020, with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. A private interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. on February 4, 2020.3

Akers.1 Inez Cooper was born on May 5, 1915 at Wythe Co., Virginia.3,1 She died on November 29, 1996 at Portsmouth, Virginia, at age 81.3,1 She Inez A. Cannaday, 81, of the 300 block of Pennington Blvd., died Nov. 29, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital. A native of Wythe County, Va., Mrs. Cannaday was a member of the Portsmouth First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include her husband, Isaac N. Cannaday; son, Charles J. Cannaday of Chesapeake; brothers, William E. Cooper of Pulaski, Va., and James W. Cooper of Suffolk; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Portsmouth First Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Nelson F. Fields. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. today. on December 1, 1996.1
