     Isabell Poff was buried at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.2,6 Her married name was Monk.7 She married Memphis C. She was a lifelong resident of Charleston and was a member of the Charleston First Church of the Nazarene. Isabell was the daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Hilda Poff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Memphis; daughter, Jean Martin; sisters, Louise Pauley, Irene Skaggs, Eva Pauley, and Macel Poff; and brother, Ronald "Pete" Poff. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring person who always put others' needs first. Her prayers were always welcomed and appreciated. Isabell is survived by her children and their spouses, Nancy and Jerry Nelson, Betty and Jerry Arnold of Charleston and Danny and Pauline Monk of Sissonville. She has nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister, Thelma Humphrey of St. Albans; and brother, Boyd Poff and his wife, Betty of St. Albans. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Randy Lanham officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park. Friends may call at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, two hours prior to the service on Monday. on September 11, 2011.2

She loved gardening, crocheting, quilting, reading and being with her extended family. She is survived by her children, Ronald Guy Poff Jr. and wife, Darla, of Hamlin, Janet Lee Perks and husband, John, of Red House, Hilda Edna Randolph and husband, Garry, of Goshen, Ind., Pamela Gail Napier and companion, Jack, Pauline Ella Holstein, all of St. Albans; grandchildren, Ronda Ward, Mike Thayer, her caretaker, Laura Thayer, Melissa Meade, Pete, Angela, Tracy and Clint Poff; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 11 a.m. at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
