Linda Sue Sanders Linda Sanders Browning, 63, of Hurricane, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at the Hubbard House. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born December 29, 1952, in Charleston, W.Va., a daughter of the late Orville and Lorraine Rexroad Sanders. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Litton and Sandy Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Rick Browning; one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Tonya Browning of Springfield, Ill; two sisters, Karen Sanders of Cross Lanes and Barbara Yessman of Florida; and two grandchildren, Bradley and Jordan Browning.5 She was buried at Oaklawn Memorial Park, 6155 East Pea Ridge Road, Barboursville, Cabell Co., West Virginia.5 Her married name was Browning.1 She married Donald Richard "Rick" Browning.1,2,3,5 Linda Sue Sanders was born on December 29, 1952 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.5 She died on October 12, 2016 at West Virginia at age 63.5

He was a World War II Navy veteran, a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason, and a 51-year member of Star Lodge #78 Free & Accepted Masons, Largo, FL. He was a retired warehouse manager from the furniture industry and was a former employee of Kyle Furniture, Charleston. Following his retirement his favorite hobby was to produce handcrafted wooden kitchen utensils-especially spoons. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and was a life member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his wife of 62-years Leota May (Sayre) Saunders; sister, Lois Vaughan of Richmond, VA, and several nieces and nephews. A procession will leave the funeral home for Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville, where military honors will be provided by the Jackson County veteran's organizations, and Masonic graveside rites will be provided by Cottageville Lodge #54, AF & AM. on December 26, 2008.2

She held the title of Deputy of the VFW Chapter 2239. Lois is in the Chesterfield Hall of Fame for her volunteer services and also was the recipient of the VAVS National Award. She was a dedicated wife and mother who adored her family. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. on September 22, 2013.2
