She is survived by a son Edward Oliver, his wife Meg, three grandchildren - Carter Herndon of Charlotte, N.C; Wells Oliver of San Diego, California, and Langdon Oliver of Chesapeake, Va; ; four great grandchildren; a brother Vincent Albis, and many much loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Richard and Ricky Oliver. Jewel was indeed a jewel and was loved by everyone with whom she came in contact. She was a wonderful caretaker for her father; a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, mother in law, aunt, sister and friend. She was a former Sunday school teacher, a gardner, a seamstress, and a great cook. She adored children. Services will be held 12 Noon Friday, December 20 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 11220 Nuckols Road, Glen Allen, Va. 23059. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Fellowship Fund at Westminster Canterbury, 1600 Westbrook Ave, Richmond, Va., 23227.
