Born in Lindside, WV on February 27, 1950 he was a son of Irvin Ruble and Ethadean Thompson Hines of Lindside, WV. He was baptized and attended Bethel Chapel at Clendennin. Dan was known far and wide for his voice as an auctioneer when he ,with his wife, operated Colonial Auction Co. and Nationwide Moving Co. for over 40 years. He also was a hit with the children on his bus; for 14 years he drove a Giles County School Bus in Narrows. Dan’s greatest joy was gathering up his family and taking a camping trip up to Lake Sherwood in WV and romping with the children and his special dog Baby Girl. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, his devoted wife and business partner Brenda I. Hines; his son Jarod Hines of Christiansburg; his daughters and sons-in-law Donna McKinney Ralph and Bill of Narrows, Jennifer Patteson and Robby of Narrows (Wolf Creek); his brother and sister-in-law Michael and Ruth Ann Hines of Lindside, his sister and brother-in-law Robin and David Thomas of Memphis, TN; his grandchildren Zachary Patteson (Rachael), Tyler Evans (Hannah), Landon Patteson, Brady Patteson, Morgan Ralph, Liam Ralph; his great-grandchildren Colten Wade Patteson and Emalyn Evans, his brother-in-law and his son Gary and Austin Byrd; and his many special nieces and nephews.2 He was born on February 27, 1950 at Lindside, Monroe Co., West Virginia.1,2 He married Sarena Gaye Poole, daughter of Willard Daniel Poole and Phyllis Marie Skeens, on March 5, 1985 at Bluefield, Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 Irvin Daniel Hines died on December 29, 2016 at Blacksburg, Virginia, at age 66.2

Born February 2, 1959 at Mullens, he was the son of the late, Leonard Howard and Mary Beatrice Lusk Thomas. Oliver was a heavy equipment operator and logger. He was a former resident of King, North Carolina, having spent the last eight years with his sister and brother-in-law in Princewick. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Thomas; one brother, Leonard Thomas; and four sisters, Christine, Kathy, Marie, and Edna Thomas. Those left to cherish his memory include one step daughter, Andrea Thomas of North Carolina; one stepson, Jamie Thomas of North Carolina; two sisters, Rella Thomas Tingler and her husband, Robert, Jr. of Princewick and Geneva V. Thomas of Princewick; one brother, Bernard Thomas of Bud Mtn; and five grandchildren. In keeping with Oliver's wishes cremation will follow the visitation and his cremains will be buried at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, Bud Mtn.3 He was born on February 2, 1959 at Mullens, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.3 He married Tammy Christine Lester on May 31, 1989 at Stokes Co., North Carolina.6 Oliver Roscoe Thomas died on August 12, 2015 at West Virginia at age 56.3

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Krislynn Nevaeh Rose Sizemore; four sisters, Christine R. Faulkner, Catherine "Cathy" Leona Meador, Thelma "Marie" Thomas, and Edna Mae Thomas; two brothers, Oliver "Roscoe" Thomas, and Leonard Samuel Thomas Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Marie Lesher & husband, Michael Lesher of Peak Ridge, and Melissa Dawn Brown & husband Dennis Brown of Shady Spring; two sons, Charlie Allen Hall & wife Kimberly Dawn Hall of Tracey's Mountain and Christopher Joseph Lee Sizemore & wife Stephanie Marie Sizemore of Mullens; a sister, Rella Tingler & husband Robert Tingler of Princewick; a brother, Bernard Thomas of Bud Mountain; a sister-in-law, Angela "Angie" Thomas of New Richmond; fourteen grandchildren, Brian & wife Melissa, Shawn & wife Lilly, Zachary, Gabbrielle, Dakota, Alyssa, Colten, Rocky, Logan, Austin, Nicole, Christopher, Emma and Morgan; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.      Edna Mae Thomas Mrs. Edna Mae Thomas, 52, of Cobblestone Road, Ridge Spring, SC, died on Friday, November 16, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Thomas was born in Wyoming County, West Virginia, having made Ridge Spring her home for the past 15 years. She was a daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Beatrice Thomas. She was a Baptist and worked as the head house keeper for Holiday Inn. She will be remembered as a dedicated mother and grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Tanya Renee Thomas, Ridge Spring, SC; two sons, Martin Robert Keenan, Jr., Ridge Spring, SC and Kenneth Lee Keenan, Ridge Spring, SC; her husband, Martin Robert Keenan, Ridge Spring; four grandchildren, Tyler Thomas Keenan, Chasidy Marie Keenan, Eric Matthew Keenan, Travis John Lee Keenan; four sisters, Thelma Marie Thomas, Kings, NC, Geneva Viola Thomas, Bud, WV, Rella Magedalene Tingler, Princewick, WV, Debbie Gaye Thomas, Jacksonville, NC; two brothers, Oliver Roscoe Thomas, Princewick, WV and Bernard Lee Thomas, Bud, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Cristine Ruth Bishop, Cathy Leona Johnson and a brother, Leonard Thomas. Funeral Services will be conducted at the family home with entombment in the Thomas family mausoleum on the family property.6 She was born on January 29, 1960 at Wyoming Co., West Virginia.5 As of March 6, 1985,her married name was Keenan.4 She married Martin Robert Keenan Sr. on March 6, 1985 at Bexar Co., Texas.4,6 Edna Mae Thomas died on November 16, 2012 at Ridge Spring, Saluda Co., South Carolina, at age 52.6
