     George William Hunt George W. Hunt, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 in King George, Virginia. He leaves Patricia F. Gaines and their blended family of daughters and grandchildren; Tami Hunt Harrison and family, Deborah Hunt Avery and family and Barbara Gaines Rothman and family. George was born July 15, 1937 to the late Howard and Hilda (Clark) Hunt in Traverse City, Michigan. He graduated from Traverse City High School in 1955 and attended Michigan State before being drafted into the Army. Following Military service, George graduated from the Virginia State Police Academy in the class of 1960. After a number of years as a Virginia State Trooper he then took a position as a Town of Leesburg police officer. His last position served was Lieutenant at the Loudoun County Sherrif’s Office. In his younger years he volunteered with the Leesburg Fire Company #1 and Loudoun County High School sports. He is survived by sisters, June Newhall of Sandy, Utah and Bonnie Slaven of Tranverse City. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Reva Crowder Hunt and sisters, Doris Core, Helen Swanson, Margaret Trimm and brother Donley Hunt. George and Pat moved their home from Leesburg to King George, Virginia in 2004 and enjoyed new activities and interests including traveling, volunteering at the KG Animal Shelter and memberships at St. John’s Episicopal Church and the local AARP organization.3 He was buried at Union Cemetery, 323 North King Street, Leesburg, Loudoun Co., Virginia.1 He was born on July 15, 1937 at Traverse City, Grand Traverse Co., Michigan.1,3 He married Reva Marlene Crowder, daughter of James Abel Crowder Jr. and Vinecie Polly Huff, on June 24, 1958 at Bexar Co., Texas.4,2,3 George William Hunt died on January 15, 2016 at King George, King George Co., Virginia, at age 78.3,1

     His Social Security Number was 225-40-1647.6 Frank Edward Warlitner Jr. Frank Edward (Sonny) Warlitner Jr., 78, of 530 West Jackson Street died Friday morning, January 4, 2013, at his home. Mr. Warlitner was born July 12, 1934, in Covington, a son of the late Frank E. Warlitner, Sr. and Mamie Gladys Fix Warlitner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Lee Warlitner, Donald Berkley Warlitner and Arnold "Tony" Warlitner and three sisters-in-law, Reva Crowder Hunt, Jan Howard Warlitner and Wanda Carter Warlitner. Sonny was a 1953 graduate of Covington High School and attended Stuyvesant Prep School in Warrenton. He served in the Virginia National Guard for 15 years. He retired in 1990 from MeadWestvaco as a maintenance foreman after 36 years with the company. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Robbie Crowder Warlitner of Covington; two daughters, Kim Warlitner of Covington and Teri Blackledge and her husband, Kevin, of Costa Mesa , CA; three granddaughters, Charity Hale and her husband, Nathan, of Covington and Keri Blackledge and Jillian Blackledge both of Costa Mesa, CA; two great grandsons, Mason Hale and Maddox Hale both of Covington, his best friend, his dog Hunter; three brothers, Danny Warlitner and his wife, Barbara, of Covington, Gary Warlitner of Clifton Forge, and Preston Warlitner and his wife, Sheila, of Winston-Salem, NC; one sister, Barbara Linkenhoker and her husband, Thomas "Buddy", of Covington; one brother-in-law, Richard Crowder and his wife, Evelyn, of Covington; one sister-in-law, Reba Crowder Graham of Stuarts Draft; and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, his body has been cremated.
