She was an avid conversationalist, who brought joy to everyone she met. She enjoyed many crafts, artistic painting, crocheting and knitting, which she shared with family and friends. Survivors include one son, Kevin Scott Carlile and his wife, Susan, Jacksonville, Fla; one daughter, June Arlene Bitner, Maylene, Ala; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Larry Gene Carlile; a daughter Beverly Ann Wood; one great-great-granddaughter, Jennifer Benson; two brothers, Floyd Radabaugh and Marion Radabaugh; two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Stella Flick. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Jess Horner officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time on Saturday.

He was born on Jan. 10, 1925, in Greentown, the son of the late Henry and Lavonna Carlile. Francis served in the United States Army during World War II and was part of the clean-up of Japan after the atomic bombs were released upon Japan. On Nov. 23, 1947, he married Jeraldine (Huddleston) Carlile, and they spent 68 wonderful years of marriage together. Francis had a small farm just outside of Greentown and was one of a few farmers to raise Belted Galloways cows. He retired after 25 years of service from Delco, where he was a security guard. He enjoyed breakfast on Sundays with his family at Richard's Restaurant, and he also enjoyed the "Guards Breakfast" when he was able to attend. Francis had a passion for flying his plane and enjoyed fox hunting. He never knew a stranger and will be missed by all who had the privilege to know or meet him.. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Jeraldine Carlile, Greentown; children, Marita Etherington, Galveston, Dianna (husband Jay) Evans, Kokomo, Teresa (husband Scotty) Burns, Tipton, and Richard (wife Lenita) Carlile, Greentown; grandchildren, Christina Jones, Danita Hall, Harley Griswold, Josh Evans, Justin (wife Kelly) Marcum, and Richie Carlile; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Robertson, Galveston; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, one son-in-law, and one grandchild.. A funeral service to celebrate Francis's life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, with David Stout, chaplain at Century Villa Healthcare, officiating. Burial will follow the service with military rites conducted by the United States Army and the Kokomo VFW. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.. The family would like to thank the staff at Century Villa Healthcare for all the wonderful care they gave to Francis over the past 11 months. on September 8, 2015.1

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carlile; brothers, Donald Donahue, Albert Donahue and Cappi "Junior" Donahue. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main St., Greentown, with Pastor Eric Roemer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown. on February 25, 2015.2

She lived in Goldsmith from 1962 until 1996, and from 1996 to 2002, she lived on East Boulevard in Kokomo. She is survived by two daughters, Juanita M. Rouse, and Linda L. Smith and husband, DeWayne, all of Kokomo; Sheryl Bunch and husband, James, of Kokomo; Laurie Wampler and husband, Norm, of Kokomo; Christine Johnson and husband, Larry, of Kokomo; James Allen Morse and wife, Lanelle, of Kokomo; Donald Ray Weaver Jr., of Lancaster, Calif; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands; one son, Donald R. Weaver; one grandson, Jerry Wheeler; and two sisters. Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road. Pastor Mike Dominick will officiate. Burial will follow in Kempton Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. on March 16, 2005.1

She was formerly the wife of Jack Bragg of Herbst. Surviving are five children, Dona, Jackie, Bobbie, Bonnie Jo and Dickie. on January 22, 1946.6
