He was a member of Shenandoah Baptist Church, and was retired co-owner of B&M Sheet Metal Company. He was a member of Ossceola Lodge Knights of Pythias. He is survived by one daughter, Paula Bartley, Roanoke; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve Bartley and wife, Sara, Vinton; Bill Bartley and wife, Charlotte, Vinton; his father, Clarence S. Bartley, Allegheny County; three grandchildren, Stefanie, Matthew and Brian Bartley; two brothers, Virgil Bartley and Gene Bartley, both of Allegheny County; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Cordell, Merritt Island, Fla; Shirley Robey, Eloise Seay, both of Allegheny County; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 1992, with the Rev. Albin P. Crutchfield and the Rev. Robert L. Alderman officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Shenandoah Baptist Church or Roanoke County No. 5 Rescue Squad, Hollins. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 1992. on June 21, 1992.³
