     Lola Agnes Williams was born on December 1, 1922 at Whitesville, Boone Co., West Virginia.2,4 As of February 23, 1942,her married name was Peters.4 She married William Dorn Peters on February 23, 1942 at Boone Co., West Virginia.4 Lola Agnes Williams died on February 28, 2009 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 86.3 She Lola Agnes Peters, 86, of Whitesville passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after a long illness. Agnes was a former resident of Regency Place in Scott Depot, where she was well known and loved. Agnes loved music, birds and animals and would nurture any creature that came her way. She was a member of the Whitesville Presbyterian Church. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Benna Williams; and her brother, James Williams. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William Peters of Whitesville; sons, William Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Charleston and Thomas Peters and his wife, Diane, of Geneva, Ill; two granddaughters, Kristi Maddox and Ami Austin of Charleston, who were a joy in her life; a sister, Pauline Gill of Oklahoma City, Okla; and her brother, Pete Williams of Whitesville. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 9, at the First Presbyterian Church of Whitesville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any animal shelter, HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25312, or the Whitesville Presbyterian Church. on March 8, 2009.3
