Grindle on March 1, 1932, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Rosetta Fagg (caregiver) and Aaron R. Born Aug. 9, 1950, in Princeton, he was the son of Oakie L. and Betty Dent Whitlow of Peterstown. He was a 1972 graduate of Virginia Tech University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. He married Cynthia Jayne Beer on Nov. 23, 1974, at the Stout Memorial United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. He held several positions in the G.E. Plastics Technology Center in Washington, before he was transferred to Ottawa in 1996. He served as Core Product Commercial Leader for Engineered Styrenic Resins, and recently received the National Sales Regions MVP Award for Outstanding Commercial Contribution for New and Existing Business in 2000. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ottawa and the Ottawa Chapter of the G.E. Elfuns. While in Parkersburg, he had been a member of the Board of Directors for the Parkersburg YMCA and was named Director of the Year in 1995. He had also served as chairperson of several committees while a member of the Stout Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Jayne of Ottawa; and two daughters, Amanda Elizabeth of Smithburg, and Kathryn Michelle “Katy” at home. Burial will follow in the Peterstown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Buddy, Tony and Curtis Whitlow, Gerald Terry, Keith Whitley, and Erie Clyburn. on June 15, 2000.²

Conner; one son, Fred Conner and wife Joann of Crab Orchard; one daughter, Joyce Conner-Eary and husband Darrel Eary of Florida; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a brother, Dr. S.K. Conner of Phoenix, Ariz. Survivors also include many brother-in-laws and sisters–in-law, nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on April 28, 2011.⁶

     Dr. Sharrel Kent Conner married Frances Eldora Morrison.⁸ Dr. Sharrel Kent Conner was born on January 8, 1920 at Jefferson, Lincoln Co., West Virginia.^2,9,3 He married Helen Georgina James on December 24, 1965 at Los Angeles Co., California.^10,11 Dr. Sharrel Kent Conner died on September 3, 2015 at Arizona at age 95.⁹ He Dr. S. Kent Conner was born on January 8, 1920 in Lincoln County, West Virginia during a snow storm. The youngest of six children, he graduated from Duval High School in May of 1936. After studying pre-med at West Virginia University, Kent received his MD from the University of Louisville Medical School in February of 1943. Poor health due to rheumatoid arthritis brought him to Phoenix, Arizona. Upon completion of his internship at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dr. Conner began a preceptorship at the Grunow Clinic. During the 45 years that followed, Dr. Conner was a much sought after and highly regarded internal medicine physician, especially for his knowledge of rheumatology. At the time of his retirement, Dr. Conner, along with fellow doctors Selby Mills, Tom Edwards and John Westfall, had the longest running practice in Phoenix. Kent is predeceased by his wife Helen and daughter Addie. He is survived by sons W. Kent (Jenny) Conner and Devin (Gail) Randolph, 3 grandsons, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews including special niece, Buzz's wife. The family would like to thank the extraordinary people at Magda's Family Home Care (Dita, George, Simona and Zam), for the love and care given to Dr. Conner in his final days. They are truly a blessing. on September 9, 2015.²

She was born in Bald Knob, W.Va. and moved to Land O' Lakes from Beckley, in 2011. Dolcie was a retired Principal and Elementary School Teacher. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Beckley and a member of the Madison Chapter of the Eastern Star. Dolcie is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Conner; parents, Mae Workman Price and Virgil Price; four brothers, Sheridan, Zenith, Darrel and Arthur H. Price. She is survived by her son, Fred W. Conner and his wife, Joann; daughter, Joyce E Conner-Eary and her husband, Darrel; six brothers, Dudley, Donald, Edward, Alton, Robert and Paul Price; five sisters, Charlotte Christman, Brenda Ferrell, Dot Meadows, Florine Ginther, Pauline LaBonte; six grandchildren, John and Shawn Conner, Dr. Holly Baab, Dr. Brooke Mueller, Clint and Andrew Conner and nine great grandchildren.
