She was a former member of the YMCA and she loved to crochet afghans and teach others to crochet. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday in Roselawn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff Lee officiating, assisted by Harold and Kimberly Smith. Burial follows in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is 11 a.m. to services in the funeral home. on June 25, 2005.2

After discharge in October 1951, he was employed by American Can Co., in Terre Haute. Then in 1958 he was employed by Indiana Gas and Chemical Corp for 21 years. He then traveled with the National Artist and Crafts touring the SW, Midwest, and NE US. After retirement he spent his summers in Indiana and winters in Texas. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Roselawn Memorial Park, 7500 N. Clinton St, Terre Haute, IN 47805. A military service will follow.
