Underwood, age 74, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 due to complications from a stroke. Judy grew up in Pilot. As the youngest of ten children, Judy learned how to stand up for herself and rarely held her opinion in check. She had an eye for beauty and enjoyed flower gardening and collecting dolls. She also liked jigsaw puzzles and crafts as well as shopping and dining out. Judy was preceded in death by her parents William Henry and Ida Marie (Lewis) Underwood, brother Kenneth Underwood, sister Ann Palmer, and brother Billy Underwood. Judy leaves behind her children Mickey (Anita) Alderman of Christiansburg, Barry Alderman of Blacksburg, Angela Alderman of Brambleton,Va., and Darren Justin Angle of Christiansburg; as well as three grandchildren Matthew Alderman, Ashley (Russel) Perritt, and Michael Alderman; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several siblings, nieces, and nephews.
