Services will be held at Oakey's Vinton Chapel on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Allen Woodie officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. on May 17, 2005.5

Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, with the Rev. Maurice E. Wright and the Rev. Art Hearne officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel after 12:00 noon Monday. on August 4, 1992.1

Palmer, Smith Mountain Lake; Raymond C. (R.C.) Palmer, Vinton; Eugene L. Palmer, Maryland; O.D. (Bill) Palmer, Salem; Eldridge Frank Palmer, Roanoke; three daughters, Mrs. Learleen Obenchain, Salem; Mrs. Madie Palmer Alls, Elliston; Mrs. Marie Horton, Roanoke; two brothers, Willard Palmer and Meredith (Mutt) Palmer, both of Roanoke; 31 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24, 1989, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Church with the Rev. Carter Sloan and the Rev. James Cannaday officiating.
