She is survived by her husband, James Trump Jr., as well as children, April and Gary Hinkley, Michelle and Charles Dowdy, Charlene and Cameron Mitchell, Jamie and Scott Lau, Marissa and Sam Harris, Shannon and Robbie Honaker; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Richard and Debbie Ferris, Sarah and Barry Heslep, Lisa and Allen Turner, Karen Webb, Ethel and Bob Brunn, Timmy and Sherri Janney, Roger and Ellen Janney, George and Donna Janney, and Teresa Janney; long time friend, Peggy Carter and "Little Buddy" Deborah Abate. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Horne Funeral Home, with the funeral service being held at Full Gospel Grace Tabernacle, located at 600 Skyline Drive, Pulaski, on Sunday, February 6, 2011, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Robert Barr officiating. Romans 8:18 "For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us". He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Preston Trump; his grandparents, William and Mary Garnett Gilbert of Shawsville and John and Carrie Trump of Christiansburg. Doug was well liked by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his loving mother, Lois Gilbert Trump and brother, Robert. Also surviving are numerous uncles, aunts and cousins, special friends at Crest Uniform in Salem and Hubbell Lighting in Christiansburg; very special friends, Mildred Rock, Peggy Hite; and a dear cousin, Jean Harris. Interment will follow in the Congregational Holiness Cemetery, Alleghany Spring Road, Shawsville. on September 24, 2003.¹

     Robert Preston Trump Jr. was buried at Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery, Shawsville, Montgomery Co., Virginia.² He Robert Trump, Jr. of Blacksburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Trump; beloved grandparents, William and Mary Gilbert; one uncle; and five aunts. Robert is survived by his mother, Lois Trump. Robert was a proud member of Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church for many years and loved his church family. Visitation will be held at Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.² He was born on February 7, 1956 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.³ He died on June 11, 2024 at Virginia at age 68.²

Goad, 64, of Lashmeet died Saturday morning in a Bluefield hospital following a long illness. He was born Maybeury, son of the late Rev. P. J. and Lilly Richard Goad, He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America Local Union No. 9034, a member of the Princeton Chapter of the Old Guard, and Lashmeet Ruritan Club. Survivors include his wife, Edna White Goad; one son, Junior Goad of Lashmeet; one daughter, Mrs. Jackueline Flinchum of Lashmeet; two, brothers, Guy and Walter Goad of Hiawatha; two sisters. Mrs. Sally Underwood and Mrs. Polie Melvin, both of Matoaka, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Princeton with the Rev. Paul Buzzard and Rev. Don Elliott offtcing. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery - Princeton Road. on December 15, 1968.²

Goad, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay. She was born in Coalwood, W.Va., in 1912, and moved to Palm Bay, Fla., in 1979. She was a retired postmistress of Hiawatha, W.Va., with 29 years of experience. She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Souder of Palm Bay; one granddaughter, Patricia Stafford; one grandson, James Souder; and two great-grandchildren, Angie and Franklin Stafford, all of Palm Bay; and daughter-in-law Darlene Goad of Marion. She was preceded in death by husband Guy Goad; James Goad and Sidney Guy Goad; daughter Mary Ann Goad and granddaughter Cindy Goad. Funeral services are pending and will be conducted at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Wanda is in heaven waiting for those who will meet her.
