He was a devoted, loving husband of 26 years, as well as, a loving father and grandfather (Papa). Mr. Whitlow was a dedicated member of Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren. He was a devoted employee of 43 years as a sawyer for Griffith Lumber Company and owned and operated his business with his son, Robert for several years. An avid race fan of the late Dale Earnhardt, David also enjoyed fishing, but above all else he enjoyed his grandchildren most of all. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia C.
