She enjoyed needlepoint; she was a member of Eastern Star for over 50 years, a member of Waverly Loyal Seniors, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Waverly United Methodist Church where she had 43 years perfect attendance in Sunday school. Surviving is her brother Don W. Rakes (fiancé Luella Marr) of Waverly, and a sister Virginia Michael of Maryland, and her caregiver for 14 years Sara Fisher of Waverly. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday December 9, 2010 at the Waverly United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Waverly East Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday at the church from 9 am until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Waverly East Cemetery. on December 8, 2010.3
