     Ivan Addison Sovine was buried at Provo City Cemetey, 610 South State St., Provo, Utah Co., Utah.^3,4 He was born on April 25, 1910 at Hurricane, Putnam Co., West Virginia.^2,3,4 He married Madelyn Golden King, daughter of Joel Crystal King and Patra Ella Gearheart, on July 6, 1934 at Mt. Hope, Fayette Co., West Virginia.¹ Ivan Addison Sovine died on May 31, 2000 at Orem, Utah Co., Utah, at age 90.^2,3,4 He Ivan Addison Sovine, long time resident of Provo and recently Orem, died May 31, 2000, in his home with his sons by his side. Ivan Addison Sovine was born on April 25, 1910, the son of Henry Asher and Delilah Alice Kingery in Hurricane, Putnam County, W.Va; Ivan went west and married Helen Adele Durrant on Oct. 15, 1958, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Ivan served faithfully in the LDS Church with many callings, including a member of the Provo 6th Ward bishopric. Actively working in the Ivan Sovine high priest group, Ivan gave of all his time and talents willingly. Ivan also helped with the Scouting and youth programs that his sons were involved in. In 1972, Ivan, with a load of Scouts, attended the Boy Scout National Jamboree in Idaho. Ivan chose Provo to work and raise a family. Ivan owned and operated his own business here for more than 30 years. Sovine's Body Shop fixed or towed many of the valley resident's cars at one time or another. Ivan enjoyed the outdoors and his, family, taking time to go looking for rocks and making them into works of art. He also enjoyed lake fishing, where he was in most cases successful because he had more patience than the fish. Ivan was also an active member of the Utah Lake Lions Club. Ivan was preceded in death by his dear wife in 1987, and his survived in life by his four sons and one daughter, Lawrence (Houston, Texas), Carolyn Sue (Indianapolis, Ind.) H. Addison (Orem), David (Pleasant Grove) and James (Orem). Ivan has 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Ivan was the last survivor of nine children. Friends and extended family please join with us in remembering Ivan on Sunday, June 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State, Orem. The funeral service will be held Monday at the Lakeview 3rd Ward Chapel, 1600 S. 150 West, Orem, at 11 a.m. Additional viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Ivan will be buried in the Provo City Cemetery with his eternal partner. on June 2, 2000.⁴

William Edgar Rodgers Sr. was buried at Appalachian Conference Cemetery (also know as Virginia Conference Pentecostal Holiness Cemetery), Ruebush Road, Dublin, Pulaski Co., Virginia.^2,5 His Social Security Number was 223-12-1966.⁶ He was born on June 24, 1889 at Freeman, Mercer Co., West Virginia; His WWI Draft Registration card has a birth year of 1891, the gravestone has a birth year of 1892, and his WWII Draft Registration card has 1895.^1,5,6,4,7 He married Gertrude May King, daughter of Charles Elias "Elzie" King and Callie Elsie Gearheart, on November 11, 1917 at Fayette Co., West Virginia.^8,9,3 Rev. William Edgar Rodgers Sr. died on May 20, 1978 at Radford, Virginia, at age 88.^2,5 He Rev. William E. Rodgers, Sr., died Saturday in the Radford Community Hospital. He lived at 413 Davis St, and was a retired Pentecostal Holiness minister. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Russell Mae Mills Rodgers; two daughters, Mrs. J. Willard (Madalon) Vaughn, Radford; Mrs. Clifford P. (Pearl) Flanagan, York, SC; two sons, David F. Rodgers, Roanoke; William E. Rodgers, Jr., Los Angeles, CA; seven grandchildren; one great­ grandchild. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday from the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Radford, with Rev. Philip Genetti and Rev. W.L. Wood, Jr., officiating. Burial followed in the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery, Dublin. Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home handled arrangements. on May 23, 1978.²

     Fayette David Rodgers was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.³ He was born on November 19, 1918 at Fayetteville, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^4,2 He married Lucille Eversole circa 1950.^4,3,8 Fayette David Rodgers died on September 11, 2013 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 94.³ He David Rogers, 94, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. He was born on November 19, 1918, in Fayetteville, W.Va., to the late Rev. William Edgar and Gertrude Rogers. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Madalon Vaughn. David was a life-time member of New Life Christian Ministries. He served as a Deacon, Interim Choir Director and taught Sunday School for 40 years. He served in World War II for four years in the South Pacific with the 25th Infantry Lightning Division where he received two purple hearts. David was employed by ITT for twenty two years. David is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucille Eversole Rogers; sister, Pearl R. Flanagan, of Greenville, S.C; brother, William Edgar Rogers Jr. and wife, Yuki, of Honolulu, Hawaii; two nephews; five nieces; god daughter, Brooke Parker; god son, Alex Parker; six adopted children, Steve (Darlene) Charlton, Lisa (Bruce) Glass, Jonathan Charlton, Mary (Gene) Shelor, Karen Harris, and Katie Charlton; and 14 adopted grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at New Life Christian Ministries, Airport Road with Pastor Walter Lee Wood, Pastor Tony Atkinson and Father Michael Flanagan. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Military Honors performed by Disabled American Veterans, Roanoke Valley Honor Guard. on September 13, 2013.³

     Lucille Eversole was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.³ She was born on September 17, 1919 at Virginia.¹ As of circa 1950,her married name was Rodgers.² She married Fayette David Rodgers, son of Rev. William Edgar Rodgers Sr. and Gertrude May King, circa 1950.^1,2,3 Lucille Eversole died on October 28, 2014 at Virginia at age 95.³ She On Tuesday, October 28, 2014, Lucille E. Rogers, of Roanoke, transitioned from her earthly life of 95 years into her eternal life with her Heavenly Father. Lucille was a beautiful, kind, loving, compassionate, independent Christian woman with a quick wit and sense of humor, who devoted herself to her family, friends and Godly service. She was deeply loved and held in high esteem by her family and friends and admired as a role model by those aspiring to follow in her footsteps. She will be more than missed by those who held her near and dear including her nieces, Sylvia Hammond (Jim) and Phyllis Frazier (Tom); grandnephews, Todd Hammond (Chrisina) and John Frazier (Laura); her "adopted" Charleton children, John, Steven, Mary, Lisa, Karen and Katie; and caregiver and niece, Sandy Craighead. Lucille was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, David Rogers; her mother, Blanche Covey; two brothers, Jack and Bill Eversole; and grand niece and nephew, Jennifer and Jeffrey Frazier. Visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2014, followed by services at 2 p.m. at New Life Christian Ministries, Airport Road. Pastor Walter Wood will officiate. Interment will be held in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on October 30, 2014.³

Survivors include her children, Sandy V. Craighead of Radford, and Alan Vaughn and his wife, Debra Lynn Gold, of Atlanta, Ga; grandsons, Brian Craighead, of Dallas, Texas and Tom Vaughn and his wife, Lynne Boxer, of Olney, Md; great-grandson, Alexander Vaughn and his mother, Betsy Sharon, of Silver Spring, Md. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012, at 7 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Dr. Hal Adams and Father Michael Flanagan officiating. on September 29, 2012.⁴

     Jess Willard Vaughn was born on June 23, 1916 at Roanoke, Virginia.^4,5,6 He married Madalon Ruth Rodgers, daughter of Rev. William Edgar Rodgers Sr. and Gertrude May King, circa 1946.^1,2,3,6 Jess Willard Vaughn died on June 27, 2006 at Radford, Virginia, at age 90.^7,6 He Jess Willard Vaughn, 90, passed away Monday, June 26, 2006 at his home in Radford. He was a member of the Radford Worship Center and a U. S. Army Air Corp veteran having served during World War II. He worked for many years in retail sales at Leggetts and Garretts in Radford. He was born June 23, 1916, the son of the late Ulyss and Maude Loving Vaughn. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Vaughn Craighead. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Madalon Rodgers Vaughn, of Radford; a daughter, Sandy V. Craighead, of Radford; a son and daughter-in-law, Alan Vaughn and Debra Lynn Gold, of Atlanta, Ga; a son-in-law, Dewey Craighead, of Spring, Texas; and two grandsons, Brian Craighead, of Spring, Texas, and Tom Vaughn, and his wife, Betsy Sharon, of Silver Springs, Md; and a great-grandson, Alexander Vaughn. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Dr. Hal Adams, the Rev. Glennard Quesenberry, and the Rev. Cecil Albano officiating. Interment will follow in the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin where members of VFW Post #776 will conduct military graveside rites. on June 29, 2006.⁶
