     David Harold Furrow David Harold Furrow, July 16, 1957 - March 4, 2020, 62, passed away on March 4, 2020. A native of Virginia he was the husband of 29 years to Doria Furrow, who survives, and the son of Lonnie Furrow, Jr. and Josephine Edwards, both deceased. He retired from the Postal Service. David was a baseball fan and was a member of the Salem Red Sox Booster Club and avid Florida Marlins fan. David also enjoyed Virginia Tech Football and Duke Basketball. He loved music, animals, and traveling to Naples, Florida. He was preceded by his father, Lonnis Furrow; and his maternal grandparents, Roscoe and Kyle Bowman. Surviving is his mother, Sylvia Jeffries; sister, Kasandra Hurt; brother, Chris Furrow (Samantha); nieces and nephews, Candan Smith (Jonathan), Katarina Jimenez, Christopher Furrow, II, Mikayla Furrow, Haydan Smith, Lukah Jimenez, Ariah Jimenez, Gunnar Smith and Micah Furrow.³ He was born on December 25, 1960 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.² He died on December 4, 2023 at Virginia at age 62.³

Bertha was the daughter of Richard and Bertha (Stoepke) Ludtke. She was born and raised in Wilmington, and was a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College. She loved arts and crafts, especially crocheting and sewing. She was a loving homemaker and cooked everything from scratch. She was able to play 12 different instruments and anything with strings. She was active in church and was the organist. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Gearhart, whom she was married to for more than 62 years. Her five siblings also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Hultsch (John); her son, David; her grandson, Christopher Bowman; her three cousins; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to the Service on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Christ United Methodist Church, 6 North Clifton Avenue, Wilmington. A viewing will take place at the church on Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 pm. Interment will take place on Tuesday, October 27, at 10:00 am in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. on October 23, 2015.³
