He was a member of Henry Baptist Church, an accomplished musician, Vice President of First National Bank of Ferrum, manager of the Rocky Mount branch and a sixteen year employee of First National Bank. Surviving are his wife, Joan Burnett Prillaman of the home; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Prillaman, and her fiance, Greg Talley; two sons, Marshall Prillaman and Chris Prillaman, both of the home; his mother, Mary Frances Prillaman of Henry; one sister, Linda P. Adams of Henry; one brother, Jamie Prillaman of Henry; a special mother-in-law and father-in-law, Irene and Bill Burnett; a special sister-in-law, Ellen Burnett. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lynch Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Arnold Terry, with interment to follow in the family cemetery in Henry. Visitation may begin after 2 p.m. Friday afternoon where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials be considered for the Ferrum Rescue Squad. on December 4, 1992.⁵
