     Mary Ann Phillips Mary Phillips Peters, 69, of Madison Heights passed away Friday, August 14, 2020. She was the wife of the late Terrell Lee Peters. Born in Lynchburg on May 24, 1951 she was a daughter of the late Thornton Phillips and Thelma Phillips. She was a retired casher with Justice Convenience Store. She is survived by a daughter, Tonya Wiseman and her husband, Garrett of Monroe; two sons, Robert Peters of Monroe and Greg Peters and his wife Jessie of Madison Heights; two brothers, Wayne Phillips and his wife Merissa of Lynchburg, Michael Phillips of Lynchburg; two sisters, Deborah Rosser of Newport News and Lillie Richards and her husband Mike of Lynchburg; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Debbie held a long-dedicated career, of over 20 years, with the Hampton Newport News Community Service Board, from which she recently retired from. She enjoyed life to its fullest, while going on many trips to the beach, cooking on holidays for her family-especially on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Spending time with her family and friends brought her great joy, but her grandchildren, “Lia” and Christian, were said to be the light of her life.      Elsie Mae Jones Elsie Jones Reynolds, 89, of Evington, peacefully departed life on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Archie M. Reynolds. Born in Nelson County, March 9, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Lillie V. Gowen. She was a dedicated wife and mother and former employee of Craddock-Terry Shoe Corporation. She loved to cook and raise a garden. In addition to her husband and mother, one son, Ronnie L. Reynolds and one daughter, Robin R. Reynolds, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Roy E. Reynolds and his wife, Trish of Rustburg and Danny R. Reynolds of Gladstone; one daughter, Karen "Sue" Williams of Mechanicsville; seven grandchildren, Ronnie M. Reynolds, J.D. Reynolds Jr., Jason S. Reynolds, Pricilla L. Reynolds, Jennifer R. Alicea, Julie R. Whelan and Abbey N. Williams; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was blessed to have Brenda F. Wright of New Kent as her caregiver. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Elsie J. Reynolds. Born in Campbell County, on January 6, 1928, he was the son of the late Archie Lee Reynolds and Josephine Williams Reynolds. He was a gifted carpenter and had a long career as a construction superintendent with C.W. Handcock and Sons. He also enjoyed deer hunting and watching the hunting dogs work. One son, Ronnie L. Reynolds and one daughter, Robin R. Reynolds preceded him in death. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Roy E. Reynolds and his wife, Trish, of Evington, and Danny R. Reynolds of Gladstone; one daughter, Karen Sue Williams of Mechanicsville; one sister, Nancy Wilson of Forest; seven grandchildren, Ronnie M. Reynolds, J.D. Reynolds Jr., Jason S.
