She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family would like to thank Golden Living Center and Thomas Memorial Hospital for the care given to Teanie. Burial will follow in the Melton family cemetery. on February 20, 2010.4

Surviving: daughters, Lucile Foster of Charleston and Edrie Lee Vinson of Denver, Colorado; brothers, Harvey Eads of Cross Lanes and Richard Eads of Lanham; sister, Iona Eads Koscelek of Milford, Connecticut; grandchildren, Thom Vinson and Leann Vinson Cardinell, both of Eastsound, Washington, and David Foster of Morton, Illinois; great-granddaughter, Terri Vinson. The family expresses their gratitude to special caregiver and niece, Patricia Eads Walls. Service was held Sunday, October 5, 2003, at Poca Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Butcher officiating. Entombment was in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House. Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include: his loving wife of 35 years, Eva Barnett McClanahan; sons and their wives, Roy F. Jr. and Terry McClanahan and Brian and Vicky McClanahan, all of Eleanor; eight grandchildren; and a host of friends. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House. on September 9, 2005.1

He was a member of the Class of 1959 of Oceana High School. He was preceded in death by his wife, Drema Dean; his father, Dennis Dean; and two brothers, Dennis Jr. and Larry Dale. He is survived by his mother, Encil Dean of Beckley; daughters, Lisa and husband, Tracy Asbury, of White Sulphur Springs and Traci Dean of Poca; two sisters, Loretta Ernst of Santa Clarita, Calif., and Brenda Dean of Beckley; and two granddaughters, Lauren and Erin Asbury. A tribute to the life of Frank was held at Haven of Rest Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Delbert Hawley. on April 8, 2008.3
