Born Oct. 29, 1956, in Streator, he was the son of Clarence and Josephine (Pavlick) Danko. He married Nancy Pickering on May 11, 2002, in Ottawa. She survives in Streator. He also is survived by his mother, Josephine (James) Sward, of Seneca, S.C; a son, Tad Danko, of Streator; stepchildren, Amy Hogan and Chad Burns, both of Streator; a grandson, Garrett Hogan; and brothers, Michael (Tanya) Danko, of Spring Hill, Fla., and Dean Danko, of Streator.
