Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Marvin Koelling and the Rev. Matt Fowler officiating. There will be no visitation. Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. He was born Sept. 27, 1947, in Loup City to Eugene and Martha (Hemkin) Ellsworth. On March 18, 1967, he married Carol Beck in Litchfield. Survivors include his wife; sons, Mark of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Scott of Denver; brother, Jack of Denver; sister, Lavonne Beaumont of Omaha; and seven grandchildren. Additional survivors include foster daughters, Stephanie Cunningham of Kearney, Tina Gary of Lincoln and Heather Bordeaux of Omaha; and daughters-in-law, Christiane Ellsworth of Colorado Springs, Andrea Ellsworth of Denver and Casey Ellsworth of Fort Lupton, Colo. His family moved to the Litchfield area where he attended school and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1965. He served in the U.S. Air Force from Sept. 6, 1967, to Sept. 3, 1971, during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he and his wife moved to Kearney. He was employed at Eaton Corp. as a stockroom attendant for more than 20 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, was a soccer coach in Kearney and for several years he and his wife were involved in raising foster children. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Kirk Ellsworth. Memorials are suggested to the family. on April 22, 2006.5

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Kearney, Neb. She was born Dec. 17, 1944, in Kearney to Wayne and Ann Beck. She had three brothers, Delwin, Bill and Dan. She married on March 18, 1967, to Larry Lee Ellsworth, and had three boys, Mark, Scott and Kirk. She has eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. on April 28, 2015.2

The couple lived in Boulder before moving to Fort Lupton and then to Brighton for the last three years. He owned and operated Solutions Consulting Computer Outsourcing IT firm in Brighton for five years. He loved trips to Las Vegas, hiking in the mountains and being outdoors. He loved his family very much — especially his children. He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Fort Lupton.
