She is survived by her two daughters, Victoria Webb of South Bend, IN, Gina Webb of Atlanta, GA; and her son, Robert Howard Webb of Raleigh, NC. Also surviving are her sister, Martha Fare, Belews Creek, NC; and four brothers, Rush of Colorado Springs, CO, Michael of St. Louis, MO, William and wife, Sylvia of Roanoke, VA, Richard and wife, Anne of Rural Hall, NC; and two sisters-in-law, Dulcie (Carl) Williamson of Raleigh, NC, and Edith (George) Kelley of Cary, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews. Helen is survived by her two daughters, Michele (Perry) Stiefel of Lititz, PA and Katherine (Joseph) Heisler of Glen Rock, PA; her two grandsons, Adam Stiefel of Lancaster, PA and Ben (Marni) Stiefel; her two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Ian Stiefel of Mt. Laurel, NJ; one brother, Ira E. Braun, Jr. of Broomall, PA; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Mike” Wilhelm and six sisters. Helen lived in Shrewsbury, PA for 60 years, before moving to Lititz, PA. She worked as a payroll clerk for many years and retired from her last part time job in childcare at the age of 81. Helen was a self-taught artist proud of her ribbons from the York Fair. She loved to dance and was the life of the party, no matter where she was. She was a wonderful Mom, Maw Maw, and Great-Maw Maw. Special thanks to all of her friends and family members for their cards, flowers, and visits. It lifted her spirits in the last difficult weeks.2 She was buried at Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Cemetery, Steltz, York Co., Pennsylvania.3 Her married name was Wilhelm.1 She married Floyd Bennett "Mike" Wilhelm, son of Melchor Hoshall Wilhelm and Eura Katherine Kelley.1,2 Helen E. Wright, 95, of Peoria, formerly of Princeville, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria. Gladys was born Nov. 20, 1914, in Laura, the daughter of George and Rosa Burgess Kneer. She married Russell Wright on Aug. 31, 1932. He died in July of 1951. Surviving are three sons, Russell (Marty) of Fort Worth, Texas, Eldon of Ipava and Sherman of Springfield, Ohio; one daughter, Rosann (Roland) Lahne of East Peoria; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two nephews, Bob (Nancy) Wieland of Laura and John (Elizabeth) Wieland of Princeville; and two nieces, Delores Wieland of Morton and Kay (Jack) Summers of Orlando, Fla. One sister, Margaret Wieland, preceded her in death. Gladys was a 60-year member of Princeville United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She also was active in the Women's Ministry, with missions being close to her heart, as she was a selfless person who not only dearly loved her family, but reached out to others in the world. She was well-known throughout the community as the Avon Lady as she sold Avon for almost 30 years. She also worked as a janitor at Princeville State Bank for many years. A special thank you to the nurses and CNAs on the Glasford and Hanna City wings of Bel-Wood Nursing Home for your tender care of Gladys while she was a resident there. Your loving care was greatly appreciated. Funeral services for Gladys will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Princeville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Rex Hendrix will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Princeville United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association. on September 2, 2010.2
