     Judy Ann Quesenberry Judy Ann Quesenberry Epperly, 70, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born July 16, 1944 at Giles County, VA she was the daughter of Claud Quesenberry of Oak Hill, WV and the late Sylvia Ann Frazier Quesenberry. She was a retired saleswoman for Sears Monument. Her husband, Jerry W. Epperly and a brother, Rodney Quesenberry preceded her in death. In addition to her father Judy leaves behind one son, Lee Lafferty of Oak Hill; two daughters, Paula Reid of Beckley and Claudia Kania of Oak Hill; stepsons, Jerry Lee Epperly of Oak Hill and Charles Epperly of Oak Hill; and a sister, Joyce Cobb of Oak Hill. She is also survived by grandchildren, Tiffany Phillips, Charley Lilly, Chase Lafferty, Jacob Lafferty, Hannah Kania, Teddy Kania and Courtney Carter; great grandchildren, Candence Reid, Cooper Phillips, Barkley Phillips, Aniston Phillips, Molly Jo Kania and Olivia Kania; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Ken Souder officiating Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill, Friends may call one hour prior to service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.      Polly Jo Epperly was buried at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.¹² She was born on October 28, 1929 at Fayetteville, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^12,7 As of July 12, 1950,her married name was McClung.² She married Russell Hoops McClung on July 12, 1950 at Fayetteville, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^1,9,2,5 Polly Jo Epperly died on May 1, 2019 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 89.⁶ She Polly Jo Epperly McClung, 89, of Fayetteville, passed away May 1, 2019, at Bowers Hospice House. She was born in the Oak Hill Hospital to the late Ervin and Maude Martin Epperly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russel H. McClung, and seven infant children, siblings; Larry, Jerry and Ervin Jr. Epperly and Loretta Epperly Legg. Polly is survived by her sisters; Drema Epperly Bowe, Wandalene Epperly Shyblosky and Kay Epperly Allen (Joe) as well as many nieces and nephews. Polly loved her cat, Peaches and her dog, Baby Cakes. She was a member of Minden Baptist Church. on May 3, 2019.⁶

Born June 4, 1927, at Fayetteville, he was the son of the late Frank B. McClung and Edith Henley McClung. He was a US Army Veteran. Russell was retired from General Motors in Detroit, Mich., where he worked as a Supervisor for 20 years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by seven children and two brothers Bernard McClung and Ray McClung. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Polly Jo Epperly McClung; sister Audrey Young and husband Otis; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and numerous nephews, nieces, great nieces, and great nephews. His remains rest at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, 1435 E. Main St. Oak Hill where the funeral will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 with Rev. Ron Richards officiating and where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of the service. Born May 31, 1925, in Clay County, he was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mattie Bowe, and his brother, Samuel. In addition to his parents and brother, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby. Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Drema Ellison Bowe; daughters and their husbands, Katherine Lynn and Geert Gysens of Fort Mill, S.C., and Darla Kaye and Randy Smith of York, S.C; grandchildren, Jeffrey Layne Cox Jr., Jennifer Elizabeth Ramsey and Randy Wayne Smith Jr; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Lee and Brittany Leigh Cox of South Carolina. Harold retired from Alloy Corporation. He was a faithful member of Summerlee Freewill Baptist Church, a World War II veteran and a former member of the VFW. Harold was dedicated to singing in various nursing homes in the Oak Hill area. He will be missed by his many family members and friends. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at Summerlee Freewill Baptist Church, Oak Hill. Burial will be held in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.      James Franklin Belcher was buried at New Hope Church Cemetery, Monroe Co., West Virginia.³ He was born on September 21, 1906 at Welch, McDowell Co., West Virginia; His draft card has a birth year of 1907.^2,4 He married Rose Angline "Rosa" Iddings, daughter of William Jasper "Willie" Iddings and Daisy Blaine Meadows, on December 25, 1967 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.¹ James Franklin Belcher died in July, 1982 at West Virginia at age 75.⁴

     James William "Bill" Iddings Greensboro - James William "Bill" Iddings, 84, was born in Marie, West Virginia, and made Greensboro his home for the past 44 years. He passed away peacefully on July 10th at Morningview at Irving Park in Greensboro. Bill is survived by his three sons, who all considered him their personal hero, and their families: William Michael "Mike" (Vicki), James "Kevin" (Julie) and Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" (Penny); grandchildren, Kristin Iddings, Courtney Peters (Ronnie), Cody Iddings, Jordan Iddings, Bryan Iddings, Jake Iddings and great grandsons, Riley and Rowan Peters. He was preceded in death by his mother Eva Iddings Cody and wife Ellen Rogers Iddings. Bill never met a stranger, and truly loved people, especially his family, his golfing buddies and his church, Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church of Greensboro. Bill took pride in his work and was respected by all as a manager at Sears and Roebuck on Lawndale Drive for over 30 years. He was even more proud of his family. He never missed one of his sons' or grandchildren's sporting events, dance recitals or school ceremonies, and treasured the opportunity to spend time with his family. In his youth, Bill was an all-state football and baseball player, a bit of a local sports legend in southwestern West Virginia. He was an avid golfer for most of his life, having shot his age and made a hole in one when he was in his 70s. He served in the army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He was an eternal optimist, and his love and presence will truly be missed by Mike, Kevin, Jeff and their families and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 North Elm Street in Greensboro. The funeral service will be held at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church, 2600 Pisgah Church Road, on Sunday, July 13th at 2:00 p.m. The burial will be held immediately following the service at Westminister Gardens.      Gladys Fern Gill was buried at New Hope Church Cemetery, Monroe Co., West Virginia.^2,5 Her Social Security Number was 236-38-9730.⁶ She was born on January 26, 1928 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.^2,5,6 As of December 12, 1946,her married name was Iddings.³ She married Archie Vaughn Iddings, son of William Jasper "Willie" Iddings and Daisy Blaine Meadows, on December 12, 1946 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.^1,5,2,3 Gladys Fern Gill died on January 4, 2011 at Charlottesville, Virginia, at age 82.^7,2,5,6 She IDDINGS, Gladys Gill, 82, of Richmond, Virginia, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in Charlottesville, Va., following a short illness. Born January 26, 1928, in Hinton, she was a daughter of the late Lewis E. and Minnie Bennett Gill. Mrs. Iddings moved to Richmond, Va., in 1946, where she worked at Sears and Roebuck until her retirement after 36 years of service, and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Archie V. Iddings on July 10, 2003; three brothers, Robert Ray Gill in 1926, Corporal Harles D. Gill, who was declared Missing in Action December 2, 1950 in Korea and was recovered 58 years after his death, and C.E. "Ted" Gill, who passed away on January 8, 1975. Mrs. Iddings is survived by her daughter, Darla Iddings Minton and her husband, J Andrews, of Charlottesville, with whom she had made her home for the past six months; one stepdaughter, June Williams and husband, Joe, of Portsmouth, Va; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren also survive. Burial will follow in the New Hope UMC Cemetery at Marie, West Virginia. on January 7, 2011.²
