William "Andrew" Barkley1,2

     William "Andrew" Barkley William "Andrew" Barkley, 82, of the Pine Grove community in northern Greene County, died Wednesday at his home. Mr. Barkley retired from Tennessee Eastman Co. after 33 years and seven months of service. He was a member of Pine Grove Free Will Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Andrew Johnson Post No. 1990. "Mr. Barkley was a loving husband, father, and grandfather," his family noted. Survivors include his wife of 62 years: Bonita Barkley; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Bill and Lynne Barkley of Greeneville and Michael Barkley of the home; two daughters and one son-in-law: Joyce and Harold Crawford and Judy Barkley, all of Greeneville; his grandchildren and their spouses: Raven and Dave Penland, Chance Barkley, Chris and Michelle Crawford, and Chad and Barbara Crawford, all of Greeneville; his great-grandchildren: Katie Penland, Christian Crawford, Drew Crawford, Audrey Crawford, Emma Crawford, Chloe Crawford, and Erica Bowman; one brother and sister-in-law: R.B Barkley Jr. and his wife, Cora Sue, of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers: the staff of Smoky Mountain Home Hospice and Chaplain Jerry Ketron. He was a son of the late Roland and Rhoda Barkley and was preceded in death by three brothers: James Barkley, Edward Barkley, and Paul Barkley. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Jeffers Mortuary. The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday in the mortuary chapel. The Rev. Rick Adams and the Rev. Steve Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Greeneville/ Greene County Honor Guard will conduct a military graveside service. Pallbearers will be Chance Barkley, Chris Crawford, Chad Crawford, Dave Penland, David Barkley, and Bobby Tate. Renner was buried at Saint James Lutheran Church Cemetery, 3205 Saint James Road, Saint James, Greene Co., Tennessee.2,3 He was born on April 20, 1927.3 He married Blondine Mildred Holt, daughter of Posie Eldridge Holt and Cledver Ardena "Cleddie" Rierson, circa 1950.1,2 Ted E. Renner died on December 28, 2006 at Greeneville, Greene Co., Tennessee, at age 79.2,3 He Ted E. Renner, 79, of Swatsell Lane in Greeneville, died early Thursday morning at Life Care Center of Greeneville. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of St. James Lutheran Church. Mr. Renner was a charter member of the St. James Ruritan Club. Survivors include his wife of 56 years: Blondine Renner; a special daughter-in-law: Lucille Renner; a special niece: Lynnice Strong of Greeneville; special sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Bonita and Andy Barkley and Maxine Renner, all of Greeneville; and his special friends: Penny Horne, Nancy and Homer Causey, and Janie and Roy Shelton. He was a son of the late Blaine and Annie Renner, and was preceded in death by one son: James E. Renner; and three brothers: Walter Renner, Clell Renner, and Cecil Renner. The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Donnie Bible and the Rev. Bill Benedict will officiate. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Homer Causey, Don Strong, Mike Barkley, Bill Barkley, Bob Winter, Larry Weems, Chris Gragg, and Kevin Neas. on December 29, 2006.2
