Jeff was born on July 4th, 1955 in Beckley, WV to Robert and Donzella Atha. Jeff was President of AAA Glass and Awning. He was a member of Oak Hill City Council for 20 plus years and enjoyed farming, beekeeping, and anything related to the outdoors. Mr. Atha never met a stranger and loved engaging in friendly banter. Jeff was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his dog Peppi as a member of the family and he would refer to her as his girl. He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert Lee Atha Sr. Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include his mother Donzella Atha of Fayetteville, devoted wife, Natalie Atha of Oak Hill; daughter and son and their wives Devin (Amy) of Knoxville, TN; Jeffrey II (Tarsia) of Edwards AFB, CA; grandchildren: Kassidy, Mason and Jackson; three brothers and their wives, Robert Lee (Myra) Atha of Ansted, Donald Edward (Jennifer) Atha of Fayetteville, and Christopher Blane Atha and Sandy of Oak Hill; one sister, Victoria (Perry) Dacal of Daniels. Interment will be in High Lawn Memorial Park.3 He married Natalie Unknown.1,2,3 Jeffrey Dean Atha Sr. was born on July 4, 1955 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.3 He died on August 30, 2021 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 66.3

Juliet, TN, died at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at Crittenden Co. Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marion. She was a 49 year member of the Eastern Star Harvey Freeman Chapter #181 in Mt. Juliet, TN and was an Avon representative for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Withrow in 2009 and one sister Helen Joyce Lewis. Her parents were Percy and Mary Pauline Jenkins Bates. Survivors include two sons Kent Withrow and wife Mindy of Marion, KY, Kevin Withrow and wife Sharon of Watertown, TN, one daughter Karen Gregory and husband James of Marion, KY, three grandchildren Kayle Harralson, Kerstie Gregory, Kyler Withrow, one brother Phillip Bates of Mt. Juliet, TN and one sister Margie Andrew of Milton, FL. Joyce was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, New Castle. She loved to do crafts, to read and working on puzzles. Joyce was a kindhearted mother, daughter and wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Watkins, in 1997. She is survived by her son Josh Watkins and his flancée Kandie Mowbray, of Houston; her mother Sarah (Craig) Bailey, of Houston; and her sister Chris Bailey, of Athens, Ohio. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce St., Harrington, friends called after 9 a.m. Burial will be private at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear. on June 12, 2008.2
