     Iva Marie Wilson was buried at Clarion Cemetery, 2nd Avenue, Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.^1,3 She Iva "Toot" Marie Burkhardt, 78, of Lucinda, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the Clarion Hospital. Born September 13, 1933, at home in Brush Run, Strattanville; she was the daughter of the late Allen Bruce and Philamena Gertrude Aaron Wilson. She was married to Paul Fredrick Burkhardt, who preceded her in death on July 31, 1999. Iva was a loving mother and housewife. She enjoyed her family and reading books. In earlier years, she enjoyed cooking Sunday supper for the family. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Paul, pipelining. Iva was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Clarion. Surviving are four children, Ron Burkhardt and his, wife, Diane, of Leeper, Rod Burkhardt and his wife, Kathy, of Lucinda, Fred Burkhardt of Leeper, and Debbie Aites and her husband, Terry, of Lucinda; six grandchildren, Jimmy Burkhardt and his wife, Aaron, of Lucinda, Kevin Burkhardt and his wife, Grace, of Lucinda, Bryan Burkhardt of Johnstown, Casey Burkhardt and his wife, Brianna, of Okinawa, Japan, Corey Burkhardt of Parris Island, SC, Emily Aites of Lucinda; and two great grandchildren, Konner Burkhardt and Ethan Burkhardt. Also surviving are a sister, Emma Jean Davis of West Middlesex; a brother, Bill Wilson "Pal" of Clarion; and two nieces and a nephew. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Burkhardt, and a brother, Robert Wilson. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012, in the Grace Lutheran Church, Clarion, with Rev. Harold O. Jacobson, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church, officiating. Louise enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and canning. She was a homemaker and worked around their family farm. She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Wilson of Smicksburg and Laura Reeger and husband Denny of Five Points; four grandchildren, David and Brian Wilson of Smicksburg, Jenny Zassuto of Plumville, and Allen Reeger of Five Points; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dick Whitesell of New York. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Viola "Peg" Gardner and Mary McCormick, and a brother, Paul R. Whitesell. Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Carol) Nowacki of Tarentum and Allen Nowacki of Granger, Iowa; two daughters, Joyce G. Polome with whom she lived during her illness and Linda Pyles of Brackenridge; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elverda "Birdie" Vunora of Tarentum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Cramer; her parents, Agustus W. and Liddie Shearer Acre; two brothers, Sidney and Arthur C. Acre; and a sister, Cora Higley. Relatives and friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Duster Funeral Home, Inc., Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, where services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev.      Charles L. "Les" Vanderhoof Charles L. “Les” Vanderhoof, Sr., 66, of Warren, PA, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at his home following a brief illness. Born on January 23, 1950, Les was the son of Gerald Miller and Barbara Ann Prather Vanderhoof. He was a graduate of Titusville High School. Les served with the U. S. Navy in 1969 and was formerly employed as a licensed practical nurse with the Bradford Regional Medical Center, the Warren State Hospital, and was last employed as a nursing supervisor at The Rouse Home. Les was an avid photographer and was a member of the Camera Club in Jamestown, NY. He was also a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Per Les’s wishes there will be no visitation. Services will be at the convenience of the family.² He was born on January 23, 1950 at Pennsylvania.² He died on June 7, 2016 at Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania, at age 66.²

     Vincent Lewis Smith was buried at Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.⁵ He Vincent Lewis Smith, 78, of 7132 Matthews Run Road, Sugar Grove, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Warren General Hospital. Vincent was born April 14, 1930 in Cameron County, Pa., the son of the late Lewis Alfred and Alice Lehman Smith. He enlisted in the United States Army on Feb. 19, 1946 and was honorably discharged on Dec. 2, 1946. Vincent was employed with the US Forestry Service for several years before retiring due to ill health. He later worked as a general maintenance worker for the Erie Railroad and also in maintenance and construction for other places during his lifetime. He was a member of the Warren County Fire Police for many years and a member of the Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department. Vincent loved the outdoors, doing lawn work, going for rides, shopping, collecting fire trucks, donkeys, and trains, and loved to do word searches. He was a fun loving, caring person who was there whenever someone needed him, he was a buddy, a friend, and someone to lend an ear when you were feeling down. He is survived by a companion and special friend with whom he resided, Laura Lee Ruland, Sugar Grove; two sisters, Janet Witham and Jeanne Armstrong, both of Emporium; several nieces and nephews; special friends and God grandkids from the Titusville and Erie area, of whom he got to know through the years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Miller Smith, whom he married on April 26, 1969 in Warren; two brothers, George and Paul Smith; a sister, Imelda MacMillan; one niece, Joyce Condario; and two nephews, Robert MacMillan Jr. and Lee MacMillan.⁴ He was born on April 14, 1930 at Driftwood, Cameron Co., Pennsylvania; His draft card has a birth year of 1928.^2,3,4 He married Joyce Ann Miller, daughter of Ellsworth Leray Miller and Twila Blanche Hulings, on April 26, 1969 at Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.^1,4 Vincent Lewis Smith died on January 10, 2009 at Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania, at age 78.^3,4
