Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 22, 2000 at 2 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Salem Funeral Home with Rev. Ira Tolliver officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. A longtime resident of Toccoa, she was employed in both the furniture and restaurant industries, and was a member of Zidon Baptist Church in Sandy Cross. Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Revs. Jerell Beatty and Ann Smith officiating. Burial will be in Toccoa City Cemetery. Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Moye, Pelham, and Linda Elrod, Debbie Bowen and Donna Wigley, all of Toccoa; two sons, Ronnie Sewell, Starr, S.C., and John Sewell, Toccoa; a sister, Ruby Sloane, Copperhill, Va; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Lawson, Shane Lawson, Timothy Lawson, Daniel Wigley, Robert Elrod and Lloyd Bowman. The families will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. on January 20, 2002 at Georgia.2
