     Thomas Ewart Drummond was born on June 25, 1939 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.^4,3 He married Joan Mabee Miller circa 1961.³ Thomas Ewart Drummond died on January 22, 2011 at Rockville, Montgomery Co., Maryland, at age 71.³ He Thomas E. Drummond, 71, a dentist with a private practice in Washington and Fairfax County from the mid-1960s until he retired in 2006, died Jan. 22 at Montgomery Hospice's Casey House in Rockville. He had prostate cancer. Thomas Ewart Drummond was born in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to Washington when he was 13. He was a 1957 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and received a dental degree from Georgetown University in 1964. He served in the Air Force from 1964 to 1966. He was a member of the board of directors of the Covington Towers condominium association in Ocean City, where he owned a second home. During retirement, he volunteered at the Suburban Hospital Cardiac Cath Lab. He had been a Potomac resident since 1970. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Joan Miller Drummond of Potomac; three children, Deborah D. Silard of Washington, Katherine D. Cloutier of Cumberland Foreside, Maine, and Thomas M. Drummond of Fairfax County; a brother, Richard R. Drummond of Potomac; and seven grandchildren. on January 24, 2011.³

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow Reed, an infant son, Barry King Reed, her father, Thomas J. King, her mother, Tida Shepherd King, and her sisters, Beatrice Craighead, Vada Loving. Mrs. Reed was retired from Lazarus and was a member of Mount Union Church of the Brethren.She is survived by many cousins; friends; and neighbors. Born in Roanoke, Va., he was the son of the late Robert R. and Winnie Reed Tice. He retired in 1986 from the Chester Water Authority, in southern Lancaster County, after 30 years in the maintenance department. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy on a destroyer escort in Europe. on September 24, 1991.¹

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry and by 11 brothers and sisters.
