     Barbara Ann Mullins was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.⁴ She was born on December 18, 1929 at Roanoke, Virginia.^3,4 She married Walter Franklin "Mackie" Poff Sr., son of William Massie Poff and Flora Armatice "Armenta" Clower, on June 15, 1948 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,3,4 As of June 15, 1948,her married name was Poff.^1,2 Barbara Ann Mullins died on November 5, 2017 at Virginia at age 87.⁴ She Barbara Mullins (Bobbie, Granny, GiGi) Poff, 87, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with her Lord (and her precious Walter) on Sunday, November 5, 2017. Born on December 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William David and Virgie Mae Mullins. She was the "chief cook and bottle washer" and also referred to as the "secretary of war" by her late husband, Walter F. Poff Sr. Barbara loved babies and faithfully served in the nursery ministry of New Life Christian Ministries. She spent her entire life using her "hands to serve and her heart to love." Barbara loved gardening and purple martins and spent her summers blessing family and friends with the fruits of her labor. Surviving are two sons, Walter F. Poff Jr., and David K. Poff and wife, Nancy, of Roanoke; two daughters, Ann P. Hall and husband, Larry, of Chesapeake, and Carole P. Stone and husband, Bryan, of Forest; grandchildren, Barb Fischer of Reston, Dannielle Hall-McIvor and husband, Jon, of Chesapeake, Zack Hall of Poquoson, Kelly S. Davenport and husband, Brian, of Lynchburg, Keri Stone of Sterling, and Franklin Poff of Bedford; a special granddaughter, Laura P Snyder and husband, Rob, of Gainesville; seven great-grandchildren, Alan Edwards, Lyndsey Casteel, Alex Fischer, Isaac Hall, Carys McIvor, Olivia and Cooper Jack Davenport; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Ewell, Glen, Ert and David Mullins; and three sisters, Christine Hoover, Ruth Beard, and Edith Sarver.
