Our mother was a dedicated and loving spouse to our father. While he was hospitalized with a head injury, she visited him most every day, whether he was at the Indianapolis VA or Danville VA. It was during that time that she crocheted large pieces; one being 5-foot in diameter round tablecloth. Dorothy was a member of Second Church of Christ and she enjoyed attending services and signing praises to her Lord. When she was able, she helped serve and prepare food for funeral dinners and prepared communion. She enjoyed serving other people.
