     Flora Ann Poff was buried at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.⁵ She was born on November 24, 1925 at Madison, Boone Co., West Virginia.^2,7,5 As of December 22, 1944,her married name was Robertson.² She married Joseph Johnson Robertson on December 22, 1944 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^2,4,5 Flora Ann Poff died on November 28, 2013 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 88.^7,5 She Mrs. Flora Ann Poff Robertson, 88, of Charleston, died November 28, 2013, at the Hubbard Hospice House with her family by her side. She was born in Madison and moved to Charleston at the age of six. She is preceded in death by her parents, Houston Lee and Mae M. Poff. Flora Ann was a graduate of Charleston High School, Class of 1944, where she participated as one of the first majorettes in the Mountain Lion Band. She was a long time member and elder of Ruffner Memorial Presbyterian Church. She partnered with her husband, Joe, in the Lions Club leadership for many years. Additionally, she was involved in a variety of church, school and community activities that supported her sons and grandchildren. Flora Ann was retired after 30 years as secretary for C.E. Silling and Associates Architects, later Silling Associates. She also worked as a secretary at Kanawha State Forest and as school secretary at Loudendale and Oakwood Elementary Schools. Her lifes work was to take care of her family which she dearly loved. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Mr. Joseph J. "Joe" Robertson; sons Joseph L. (Mary Margaret), John David (Kimberly) and Jeffrey Scott (special friend, Vicky Walker); sister, Rebecca Poff; grandchildren, Joey Robertson (Laura) of Pinch, Mark Robertson of Baltimore, MD, Bethany (Dylan) Creedon of Santa Rosa, CA, Allyson Robertson (fiancee Jason Shipe) of Morgantown, Sarah (Ryan) Deatrick of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Nicholas Robertson (fiancee Jess Manza) of Morgantown; great grandsons, Gavin and Eli Robertson. Special thanks to caregivers Mary, Sonja, Nancy, Terry, Peggy and Brandy who became extended members of the family. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 1 at Harding Funeral Home, 514 50th Street SE, Kanawha City. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 2 at St. Marks United Methodist Church with the Rev. Monty Brown officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be immediately following the service at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. on November 30, 2013.⁵

     Joseph Johnson Robertson was buried at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² He was born on December 23, 1923 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^2,3 He married Flora Ann Poff, daughter of Houston Lee Poff and Myrtle Mae Miller, on December 22, 1944 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^1,2,4 Joseph Johnson Robertson died on October 17, 2015 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 91.^2,3 He Joseph Johnson Robertson, 91, of Charleston, passed away Oct. 17, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House with his family at his side. He was born in Charleston on Dec. 23, 1923 to Mary Elizabeth Simmons and Elpha H. Robertson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife and life partner of 69 years, Flora Ann Poff Robertson; brothers, Elmer "Brud" and Robert; sisters, Elizabeth Conner and Frances Milburn; and stepmother, Euda Robertson. Joe was a graduate of Charleston High School, Class of 1942. He retired after 35 years service at Union Carbide-South Charleston. He was a veteran of World War II in the United States Coast Guard. Joe was a charter member of Ruffner Memorial Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and had the longest years of membership. He was very active in his community, particularly through his service as a 50 year member of Lions Clubs International. Joe was charter president of the Loudendale Lions Club and member of the Kanawha City Lions Club. He served in many leadership positions in the District and State, including District Governor of 29-0 and Trustee and Past President of the WV Lions Sight and Hearing Conservation Foundation. He received both the Melvin Jones Fellow and Leonard Jarrett Award. Mr. Robertson is survived by three sons, Joseph Lee (Mary Margaret), John David (Kimberly) and Jeffrey Scott (special friend, Vickie Walker), all of Charleston; sister, Barbara (Eddie) Henley of St. Albans; and sister-in-law, Rebecca Poff of Charleston. Additionally, he is survived by grandchildren, Joey (Laura) Robertson of Pinch, Mark Robertson of Halethrope, Md., Bethany (Dylan) Creedon of Santa Rosa, Calif., Allyson (Jason) Shipe of Huntersville, N.C., Sarah (Ryan) Deatrick of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Nicholas (Jess) Robertson of Morgantown. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, Gavin and Eli Robertson and Lucy Creedon. The family expresses special thanks to caregivers, Priss and Belva of Tender Heart Home Care; home caregivers, Mary, Sonja, Nancy, Terry, Peggy and Brandy; Dr. William L. Harris and Dr. James Griffith; and the staff at Hubbard Hospice House. Pettigrew.⁴ Harold Nash Means was born on November 1, 1899 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^2,3,5 He died on July 26, 1975 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 75.^3,6 He Harold "Shag" Means, 75, of 103 Kenna Dr., South Charleston, died Saturday in Pinecrest Hospital, Beckley, after a long illness. He was a retired maintenance employe of the St. Albans library. Mr. Means was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, South Charleston, and was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County. Surviving: wife, Stella P; brothers, Reginald of Dunbar, Billy of Richmond, Va. on July 27, 1975.⁶

Donald Smith.^2,4 Renia Sue Carney was born on April 28, 1935 at Carbondale, Illinois.^1,4,3 As of 1967,her married name was Poff.¹ She married Bobby Lee Poff Sr., son of Clinton William Poff and Laura Magdalene Weaver, in 1967 at Conway, Horry Co., South Carolina.^2,1 Renia Sue Carney and Bobby Lee Poff Sr. were divorced on October 30, 1972 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ Renia Sue Carney died on June 6, 2011 at Florida at age 76.^4,3 She Smith, Renia Sue, 76, of Apopka, died on Monday, June 6, 2011, at Florida Hospital North. Renia was born April 28, 1935 in Carbondale, IL. She is survived by her loving husband, M. Donald Smith; daughter, Major Sherry McKeever; son, Bobby Poff, four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Renia served as a certified nursing assistant at various nursing homes in Orange County for over 15 years. She loved taking care of people. Renia was known as the "doll lady" handmaking over 200 "Southern Bell" dolls. She never met a stranger nor walked past someone or something in need. Your family and friends will miss you and your loving, giving heart. on June 10, 2011.⁴

She is survived by her father, Bobby Poff, Sr. and stepmother, Joyce, of Roanoke, Va; mother, Renie Smith and husband, Donald, of Florida; sister, Sherry Mckeever and husband, Joe, of Baltimore, Md; brother, Bobby Poff, Jr. and wife, Cheryl, of Knoxville, Tenn; stepbrothers, Vernon Hitchcock and wife, Dematress, of Boones Mill, Va., Paul Hitchock and wife, Melanie, of Richmond, Va., and Todd Hitchock of Roanoke, Va; nieces, Lottie Brewer and husband, Ronnie, of California and Haley Hitchock of Boones Mills, Va; nephews, Andy Floyd and wife, Randy, and daughter, Patience, of Florida; Lee (Bubba) Poff of Knoxville, Tenn; Luke (Hoss) Poff of Knoxville, Tenn; Cole (Ace) Hitchock of Richmond, Va; special friend, Sandra Haley of Roanoke, Va; and a host of other relatives and friends. She worked at General Electric for 24 years as a wireman and was an avid bass fisherman at Smith Mountain Lake. Johnson passed away peacefully after a lingering illness on Jan. 31, 2000, in a Norfolk hospital. She was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her mother, brother and sister. She was the beloved wife of David Johnson. Other survivors include a daughter, Angela Patton and her husband, Don; her granddaughter, Sierra Ann; her sister, Peggy Moots and husband, John; a niece, Ginny Turner and husband, Bryan, and their three children, all of Norfolk; a niece, Vanessa Thomas and husband, Mark, of Virginia Beach; and her father, Robert Poff of Lake Charles, La. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. on February 2, 2000.¹
