Collectively David has five grandchildren ~Gavin, Addison, Emmy, Harper and Levi. Also surviving him is his sister Kay who is married to Doug George. He was an uncle and a Godfather to many in and around Roanoke & Richmond, Virginia.3 He was born on December 8, 1955 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,3 He married Pamela Diane Wirt, daughter of James Lloyd Wirt and Peggy Jacqueline Linkous, on June 27, 1980 at Roanoke, Virginia.1 John David Osborne died on September 10, 2020 at Grover, Cleveland Co., North Carolina, at age 64.3

He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, NASCAR and Redskins fan and was also an avid gardener. In 1996 he was inducted into the Tidewater American Softball Association Hall of Fame. He was the son of Mary A. Wilson and the late Dalton L. Wilson Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Linda Wilson; son, Dalton L. Wilson III and wife Amanda Wilson of Chesapeake; brother, Steven B. Wilson of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Molly and Heidi Wilson and Felicia Harris; two sisters-in-law, Marlene Owens and Gail Flanagan; and brother-in-law, Albert Flanagan; Uncle Billy Faulkner; Aunt Ester and husband Bill Leary; three nephews; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; several cousins; friend, Walter Valley; doggie, Calie; and community, friends and neighbors in the Tidewater area.
