The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Penn Memorial Baptist Church and burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens with military rites provided by the Rockingham County Veteran's Honor Guard. A native of Caswell County, he was a son of the late Walter Spencer and Pearl Page Reagan and had lived in Reidsville most of his life. He was a retired employee of the American Tobacco Co., a U.S. Army veteran of WW II, a member of the VFW, The American Legion and the Cobb Memorial Ruritan Club. Mr. Reagan was a member of Penn Memorial Baptist Church where he was a faithful member of the Dan Overby Sunday School Class, a Deacon, Usher, member of the Property Committee, member of the Board of Trustees and a former church treasurer. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Natasha Annette Winfree. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Tiny Simpson Reagan of the home; son James F. Reagan Jr., and wife Susan of Elon; daughter Debra R. Floyd and husband Mike of Reidsville; sister Inez R. Saunders of James Island, S.C; step granddaughter Michelle Wilson of Reidsville; step great-grandchildren, Jordan Wilson and Carter Wilson; special grandson, Dalton Simpson. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 or Penn Memorial Baptist Church, 2029 Freeway Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320. on June 22, 2006.2

Born in Rockingham County, she was a daughter of William T. and Elma Simpson Evans of Ruffin. Mrs. Alcorn lived in the Ruffin Community all of her life. She was employed by Burlington Industries in Reidsville. Mrs. Alcorn was a member of Ruffin-Stacy Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, W. Dennis Alcorn of the home; one son, Tyler Walker of the home; two step-daughters; Alice Alcorn and Karen Setliff, both of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Smith, Providence; Miss Vanessa Evans and Miss Judy Evans, both of Ruffin; and one brother, William T. Evans of Ruffin. on June 27, 1977.5
