After her retirement, she became her sister's dialysis nurse and caregiver. She is survived by four children, Raburn L. (Ray) Collins Jr. and wife, Sherry, of Richmond, Va., C. Randolph (Randy) Collins and wife, Katie, of Birmingham, Ala., Barry Neil Collins and wife, Fredia, of Roanoke, and Mary L. Walrond and husband, Jack, of Troutville; three grandchildren, Jeff Metzler and wife, Renee, Cindy Simmons and husband, Tommy, and Cary Collins and wife, Tonya; two step grandchildren, Tom Walrond and wife, Susan, and Greg Walrond and wife, Hong; and 14 great-grandchildren.
