The couple lived on a farm in Allen County. He is deceased. She liked to read the Bible. She was a teacher and elder in the Presbyterian Church. She was a past president of the Presbyterian Women's Organization. She was active in the American Heart and American Cancer societies and was a member of the Willing Workers Club. She is survived by a daughter, Verda "Dottie" Petersen of Pomona; a daughter-in-law, Audrey Maley of Moran; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; four great-great-great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces. Two sons, Roy Raymond Maley and Bobbie Dale Maley died earlier. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Kunkel Mortuary in Moran. Pastor Reta Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Moran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. on February 12, 2003.²
