     Daniel M. Springer was born on September 23, 1933 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.^3,2 He married Norma Jean Peterson, daughter of Irvin Alvin "Pete" Peterson and Vivian Frances Hardesty, on August 20, 1954 at Los Angeles Co., California.¹ Daniel M. Springer died on March 23, 2006 at Lakewood, Los Angeles Co., California, at age 72.^3,2 He Daniel M. Springer, age 72, passed away on March 23, 2006 at his home in Lakewood, CA. He was born on September 23, 1933 in Chicago, IL. Daniel was a retired IBEW Local 11 Journeyman Wireman. He was a charter member of the El Dorado Nature Center where he spent many hours donating his time from building bird houses to helping out where they needed him. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma. He is survived by his adoring children, Jo Ellen Piner (Dale), Karen Smith (Marty) and Daniel III (Marcia); and 8 wonderful grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 11 am at Whites Funeral Home, 9903 E. Flower St, Bellflower. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his name to The Friends of El Dorado Nature Center, 7550 E. Spring St., Long Beach CA 90815. on March 31, 2006.²
