     Mary Ann Poff was buried at Trinity Cemetery, Route 220 south of Fincastle, Botetourt Co., Virginia.3 She was born on October 4, 1943 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,5 As of August 16, 1963,her married name was Wright.1 She married Frederick Alwin Wright on August 16, 1963 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.1 Mary Ann Poff and Frederick Alwin Wright were divorced on November 2, 1972 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.2 Mary Ann Poff died on August 28, 2020 at Virginia at age 76.3 She Ann Poff Wright, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 28, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents, Lionne Adelaide Wimmer Poff and Willard Wilmoth Poff, she is survived by beloved friends and family, who include daughter, Rebecca Wright; son, Stephen Wright; daughter-in-law, Pamela Wright (Compton); grandchildren, Lily and Henry Wright; foster brother and sister, Raymond and Mary Basham; and special friends, Izetter (Ike) Glasgow (Beckner), and Michael Glasgow Jr. and family. A graduate of Lord Botetourt High School, Ann was a lifelong resident of Trinity. After graduating high school, she attended Virginia Western Community College and Virginia Southern College. She worked for 25 years at Double Envelope Company in Roanoke and finished her career at VDOT Salem Residency. Anyone who knew Ann, knew she enjoyed the company of her friends and their trips for shopping, vacationing or the holidays. Besides daily walks with her dog, Ann had a deep love of reading and always had several books in process at any given time. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Church of the Brethren, where she served for many years in the choir and on the board. Ann's ashes will be interred at the Trinity Cemetery with her parents. on September 6, 2020.3

     Maurice Arlen "Sam" Creasy was buried at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Shady Grove, Bedford Co., Virginia.2 He was born on January 12, 1938 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,3 He married Ruth Naomi Lyles, daughter of Ivy John Lyles and Ocie Marie Poff, on November 16, 1963 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,4 Maurice Arlen "Sam" Creasy died on April 19, 2017 at Virginia at age 79.2 He CREASY, Maurice Arlen January 12, 1938 - April 19, 2017 Maurice Arlen (Sam) Creasy, 79, of Roanoke and Chester, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Dorothy Creasy; brothers, Bernard Eddie and Olin Dale Creasy; and niece, Rhonda Michelle Gibson. Sam is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth L. Creasy; daughter, Melanie Dawn Creasy; and sons, Kevin Charles Creasy, and David Lyle Creasy and his wife, Amy. He was a grandpapa to Megan E. and Sarah G. Creasy, and Justin T. and Matthew G. George. Also surviving are his sisters, Carolyn Gibson, and Ruby and her husband, Robin Lester; sisters-in-law, Glenda and Charlotte Creasy; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. After serving in the United States Navy Reserve, Sam worked at Double Envelope in Roanoke where he retired after 35 years of employment. Sam enjoyed family time, laughter, hunting, fishing, collecting Native American relics and most everything outdoors. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with Pastor Robin Lester officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. on April 21, 2017.2

     William Thomas Hall was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 2880 North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.4 He William Thomas (Bill) Hall, 74, of Floyd, VA, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill served as a State Trooper for the Virginia State Police from 1967-1994. The majority of his career was spent stationed in Floyd County, where he continued to reside after his retirement. Bill was born on December 18, 1940, in Montgomery County, VA. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul T. Hall; mother, Olia A. Preston; two brothers, Paul D. Hall and Gary W. Hall. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Karen Estepp and husband Dale, and Kathy Hall, all of Smyrna, DE; sisters, Barbara H. Woolwine and husband Walter, Linda H. Lyons, Becky H. McMahan and husband Vance, Debbie H. Custer and husband Red; and a brother, Norman L. Hall, all of Christiansburg; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill was also blessed to have many lifelong true friends who meant so much to him. He also loved the dogs that he had in his life. He was an avid collector of guns, fast cars, and John Deere tractors. He was a loving son, brother, and father and will be deeply missed. He maintained his sense of humor with him until the end. Special thanks to Dr. McCoy and his staff for the care they gave him and to Lewis Gale Montgomery staff for their care in the last few days of his life.
