A life long resident of the Fallston community, she was the daughter of J. Harry Stanley and Bertha Smith Stanley. Marguerite graduated from Bel Air High School, class of 1932, when the high school was on Gordon Street. After school, she went to work at the Campbell's Sewing Factory on Carr's Mill Road. While there, she met her future husband, Lawrence W. Wimmer. They were married January 9, 1937. Marguerite worked with her husband at Glenn L. Martin during WWII. She was also active in the Youth's Benefit Homemakers Club and judged cooking and canning events for the 4-H and others at the local and state fair levels. When there was someone in need of help in any way, she was always there to give a ride or a helping hand and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
