     Norman Lee Altice Norman Lee Altice, 82, of Fort Hill Road, Bristol, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the husband of the late Doris Marie (Mello) Altice. Born in Roanoke, Va., he was the son of the late Leonard William and Claudine (Thurman) Altice. He is survived by his sons, Norman Lee Altice Jr. and his wife Susan of Tennessee, and Kenneth M. Altice of Bristol; his daughter, Jane A. Altice-Leite and her husband Mark of New Hampshire; one granddaughter and one great-grandson. He was the brother of Jean Deyerle and Peggy Adams of Florida. Norman was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy serving aboard the USS Yosemite. He was a life member of the VFW and a member of the Ever-Ready Engine & Hose Co #2 of the Bristol Fire Department. He enjoyed his lifelong career as a toolmaker for Speidel and Dennis Machine Co. Graveside service St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.3 He was buried at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bristol, Bristol Co., Rhode Island.3,5 He married Doris Marie Mello.3,5 Norman Lee Altice was born on April 7, 1933 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.2 He died on September 26, 2015 at Bristol, Bristol Co., Rhode Island, at age 82.3

She was born May 5, 1910, in Olustee, Okla., daughter of the late William Carl and Zeda Wheeler Setliff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard W. Altice; son, William Marshall Caudell; and a number of siblings. Mrs. Altice was a retired self employed beautician with over 70 years of service to her clients. She was a member of New Covenant Christian Church, enjoyed gardening and loved her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Teddy Glen Caudell; granddaughter, Rhonda Kay Kiser; great-grandchildren, Jessica Kiser and Richard Kiser; great-great-granddaughter, Leah Kiser; brother, Jewett Setliff; sister, Linda Setliff; and daughter-in-law, Wanda Whitfield Fogel Caudell. Graveside services will be conducted at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke. The family would like to thank the Friendship Manor Palliative Staff on the 1st floor for all of their loving care and a special thank you to Mrs. Altice's personal friend and caregiver, Mary Jo Knight. on January 25, 2011.1

     Gwyndolia Louise Balch was buried at Wilson's Funeral Directors and Cemetery, 1226 Brownfield Highway, Wolfforth, Lubbock Co., Texas.1 She was born on April 30, 1924 at Tahoka, Lynn Co., Texas.1 As of November 9, 1941,her married name was Timmons.1 She married John Frank Timmons, son of William Howard "Bill" Timmons and Margaret Celeste "Maggie" Akers, on November 9, 1941 at New Home, Lynn Co., Texas.1 Gwyndolia Louise Balch died on September 1, 2012 at Texas at age 88.1 She LUBBOCK- Gwyndolia Louise Timmons, 88, of Lubbock was born April 30, 1924 in Tahoka to J. T. Balch and Victoria Smith-Balch. She married Frank Timmons, November 9, 1941 in New Home. He passed away July 5, 1991. She and Frank farmed cotton, she enjoyed sewing and working in her garden. She was a wonderful wife, mom, and granny. Gwyn passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Linda Kay and husband Dean Maas of Lakeview, Kenneth Mac Timmons and wife Rhonda Sue of New Home, Francie Lou Timmons of New Home, and Wesley Truman Timmons and wife Vickie of Lakeview; seven grandchildren; and 14 Great-Grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 6-8pm today, September 4, 2012 in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will be at 4:00pm Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the same chapel. Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery. on September 4, 2012.1
