She was born Jan. 6, 1941, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of James Harry and Elinor Casebeer Harrod. Gwen was a cardiac nurse and had worked at St. Francis Medical Center for 25 years. She fought cancer the past four years and became unable to work in March 2002. She had attended Sunday school and church at First Baptist Church in Jackson for many years. Loving survivors include three sons, Conrad Vincent Everly of Louisville, Ky., Michael Lynn Everly of Jackson and Bradley Stephen Everly of Columbia; one daughter, Michelle Everly Koch and her husband, Doug, of Jackson; and three grandchildren, Nicholas James and Ryan Lawrence Everly of Louisville and Brittany Danielle Koch of Jackson. Also surviving is her mother, Elinor Harrod, of Round Rock, Texas; a sister, Marta Harrod Wayman Harris and her husband, Jerald Harris Jr., of Round, Texas, formerly of Columbia; and Gwen's former husband, Leon Everly of Bethany. She was preceded in death by her father. on April 5, 2004.2

(Truitt) Everly. Kent was a member of the United Methodist Church of Bethany. Survivors include, his parents, Kenneth and Neva Everly of Bethany; brothers, Brian Everly and wife Michele, Overland Park, Kan, Craig Everly and wife Stephanie, St. Joseph; sister, Denise Mauer and husband Mark, Kansas City, Mo; uncle, Tracy Truitt and wife Linda, Overland Park, Kan; aunt, Irene Everly, Bethany; six nieces and one nephew. Graveside services and burial were Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Miriam Cemetery, Bethany. Memorial contributions to the Gentry County ARC of Albany in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, Mo. 64402. on February 24, 2006.1
