     Charles Edward Grant Jr. Mr. Charles Edward "Chuck" Grant, Jr., age 67 of McDonough, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Grant, Sr; mother and father, Jo and Jack Rombough; and brother, Jim Rombough. He is survived by his wife, Mary Grant; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Donna Grant; grandchildren, Alexis Grant, Connor Grant, Hannah Buchanan; brother and sister-in-law, J. Chris (Rose) Rombough. Mr. Grant loved being a grandfather and will be greatly missed. He was a member of Mansfield Baptist Church and retired after 22 years of service with National Elevator Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and NHRA. Entombment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.² He was buried at Green Meadows Memorial Gardens, Conyers, Rockdale Co., Georgia.² He was born on August 31, 1951 at Florida.^3,1 He married Mary Amanda Cooper, daughter of James Wistar Cooper Jr. and Bivvie Eleanor Craighead, on August 15, 1975 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ Charles Edward Grant Jr. and Mary Amanda Cooper were divorced on June 13, 1977 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁴ Charles Edward Grant Jr. died on September 4, 2018 at McDonough, Henry Co., Georgia, at age 67.²

She was the widow of Irving T. Craighead. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joyce C. Cook, Nicholasville, Ky; a son, Dale M. Craighead, Vinton; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wright, Mrs. Lottie Harper, both of Vinton; two brothers, Jake Cook, Fincastle; Herman Cook, Blue Ridge; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a devoted friend, Mrs. Betty Lam, Blue Ridge. Burial will be in Glade Creek Cemetery, Blue Ridge. on February 23, 1987.⁴

     Joyce Marie Craighead Joyce Marie Craighead Cook, formerly of Roanoke, VA passed away December 31, 2018. Joyce was born on January 12, 1930 to the late I.T. and Eva Craighead. She was an employee of Thompson’s Foodtown for 20 years. She is survived by her daughters Carol Gibson, Dottie Metz, Barbara Bruner and Linda (David) Moores, her daughter in law Rose Cook, her seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son David Cook and her brother Dale Craighead.      Dale Morgan Craighead Dale Morgan Craighead, 78, of Goodview, Va., passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2017. He was born in Blue Ridge, Va., son of the late Irving and Eva Craighead. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Ruth Ann Graybill Craighead. Dale owned and operated Craighead Distributing Company and was a member of the Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his five children, Vickie Findley, Carin Bratton (Jerry), Kathy Fleming, Kevin Craighead (Leslie) and Lorrie Price (Marshall); sister, Joyce Cook; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.³ He was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, 1300 Mountain View Road, Vinton, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^4,3 He was born on June 30, 1938 at Blue Ridge, Botetourt Co., Virginia.^3,4,5 He married Ruth Ann Graybill on May 11, 1957 at Chester Co., South Carolina.^3,6,9 Dale Morgan Craighead died on January 30, 2017 at Goodview, Bedford Co., Virginia, at age 78.^3,4

     Ronald Eugene Gibson and Carol Jean Cook were divorced.⁴ Ronald Eugene Gibson was buried at Hill Crest Cemetery, Blue Ridge, Botetourt Co., Virginia.^3,4 He was born on December 29, 1945 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2 He married Carol Jean Cook, daughter of Linwood Vernon “L.V.” Cook and Joyce Marie Craighead, on January 19, 1964 at Blue Ridge, Botetourt Co., Virginia.¹ Ronald Eugene Gibson died on September 16, 2017 at Blue Ridge, Botetourt Co., Virginia, at age 71.⁴ He Ronald E. (Buddy) Gibson, 71, of Blue Ridge, Va., passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 16, 2017, surrounded by the love and support of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dorothy Gibson. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Mike Gibson and his wife, Terri, Steven Gibson and his wife, Danelle, and their family, and his daughter, Stephanie Wilson and her husband, Robbie; grandchildren, Jarad Gibson, Dyllon, Faith and Shane Wilson; sisters, Margaret G. Bohon and Virginia Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many, many, special friends. Buddy was an employee of Norfolk Southern Railroad for 25 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, good music and dancing. He loved playing Santa for the Blue Ridge Volunteer Fire Department where he was appointed an honorary member and had developed many close friendships. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. on September 19, 2017.⁴

She was born on February 8, 1955 in Roanoke Virginia to the late Lenwood Vernon and Joyce Marie Craighead Cook. Barbara was a long time employee at Wal-Mart in Nicholasville. She is survived by one son Tim (Jacqueline) Bruner, one daughter Amanda (Henry) Foster, four grandchildren Jacob Russell, Madilyn Rae, Emme Renae and Kate Isabella, and three sisters Linda (David) Moores, Carol Gibson and Dottie Metz. Besides her parents he was preceded in death by one brother David Cook.² She was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Nicholasville, Jessamine Co., Kentucky.^2,3 Her married name was Bruner.¹ She married Unknown Bruner.¹ Barbara Ann Cook was born on February 8, 1955 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,3 She died on October 28, 2019 at Nicholasville, Jessamine Co., Kentucky, at age 64.^2,3
