Isaac Guy Fisher was buried at Dunnstown Cemetery, Dunnstown, Clinton Co., Pennsylvania.3,4 He and Edith Irene Kunes were divorced.4 Isaac Guy Fisher was born on September 6, 1884 at North Bend, Clinton Co., Pennsylvania; His WWI Draft Registration card has a birth year of 1883.2,3,4 He married Edith Irene Kunes, daughter of John Chatham Kunes and Agnes Jane Gardner, circa 1905.1 Isaac Guy Fisher died on April 7, 1930 at Lock Haven, Clinton Co., Pennsylvania, at age 45.3 He Flemington Man is Killed on Monday At the Paper Mill. Body of I. G. Fisher Drawn Into Machine as He Steps Into the Danger Zone. A verdict of accidental death was returned by the coroner’s jury in the inquest into the death of Isaac G. Fisher, of Flemington, who was instantly killed early Monday when he was caught by a scraper on a rotary machine at the plant of the New York and Pennsylvania Company. The inquest was held Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at the office of District Attorney William Hollis. The witnesses were Clarence K. Gummo, superintendent of the paper mill; E. M. Stabley, O. F. Bowes and G. C. Hanna, fellow workmen of Mr. Fisher, who were near when the tragic accident occurred. The verdict of the jury in no way censured the company, as the testimony indicated that adequate provision was made for the safety of the workmen, and that Mr. Fisher had stepped into the danger zone when fatally injured. The jury was composed of E. F. Heffner, Jr., Emory B. Waters, D. L. Harpster, B. A. Hockenberry, Herman L. Oberheim and T. Frank Fabel. Mr. Fisher was working in the sulphate department of the mill and was caught by the scraper of the machine as he stepped out of the safety zone. His body was dragged beneath the machine and then tossed out again, death was instantaneous. Dr. W. J. Shoemaker, coroner, was notified of the accident, and after making an investigation, ordered that an inquest be held. Mr. Fisher was born 45 years ago at North Bend, but had resided practically all his life in Flemington. He was employed at the Paper Mill the past 14 years. He was a member of the Oklahoma Church of Christ at Flemington. In addition to his wife he is survived by six children; John Fisher, of Philadelphia, by a former marriage; Evelyn Byron, Donald, Iona, and Bobbie Fisher, all at home; five sisters and one brother, as follows: Mrs. Grant Caldwell and Mrs. Charles Knarr, of Lockport; Mrs. Robert Hoy, of State College; Mrs. Charles Barner of Orviston; Mrs. Robert Kyser, of Williamsport, and Ralph Fisher, of this city. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Flemington Church of Christ in charge of Rev. Paul Mackey, of Howard. Interment was made at Dunnstown. on April 11, 1930.4
